The price to portion ratio is pure greed. Places that serve 3.99/lb retail food at $2.5/ounce (1/16th of a pound) need to go out of business. Or just change the name to Bandits

I like this place a lot. This was my first poor experience. They are in a need server help situation right now. We waited 20 mins without being greeted. The folks in front of us left and we followed a few minutes later. The host came over once and sat a group, then she proceeded to get their drink order and finally was taking their food order while a dozen or more of us stood at the door waiting. I'll go back. They're worth another chance. The food is excellent.

Bandanas was my go-to when I'm in the area for work. Food is usually good, but they let me down in my most recent order. The brisket was burnt, dry and crispy around the edges. The ribs were dry, chewy and super thin. I've never seen a rib that small. The baked potato tasted burnt and the chicken was dry and mealy. I don't think this next issue is Bandana fault, but it will affect my decision to order in the future. The Grub hub driver was too lazy to bring the food to my hotel room, he/she left it at the front desk. On the bright side, the bread was good and my order was correct.

Food was cold. Ribs super rubbery on one end & tough as nails on the other. Waitress was terrible.

Worst waitress ever! There were only people at 2 other tables, so not busy. After we were sat at our table we waited about 15 mins before our waitress came over. She kept forgetting our order as we were giving it, had to keep repeating it. Our food took about 30 mins. After eating for a few minutes, everyone needed refills. We hadn't seen her anywhere since dropping off our food. We then see her come out of the kitchen and go to the restroom where she stays for 20 mins. We couldn't even finish eating without having something to drink with it. When she came out, she goes over and starts talking with other staff. She finally makes her way over to us and we just asked for boxes and sauce containers and the check. She comes back with a box and a sauce lid, no container. We cut our losses and paid at this point. It's sad that we feel forced to tip 18% for bad service. A tip should be earned!

Rumor has it, that the establishment is under new management and has really turned itself around and become a special small town gem, right there at the I70 off-ramp. So I had to check it out myseIf, and I'm happy to report that the rumors are true. If you're in the mood for some smokified goodness, there's really no better place in the 812 area. As she was making the rounds to all of the tables, the manager (Mandy) stopped and checked on us, and she was so pleasant to talk to. The food was good and filling. Comfort food, if you will. And on a side note, as I was going to the bathroom in back, to wash up, I heard some 90's rock/alternative coming from the kitchen, so you just know the cooks must be awesome people (probably handsome and witty too). The place checks all my boxes.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly.Parking: Plenty.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty available.Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian, allergies, etc

One of my favorite restaurants in the Haute! Food was delicious as always, I enjoyed the Rib Dinner tonight with their delicious potato salad and legendary barbecue baked beans! Our server Tera was spectacular and made us feel right at home with her smiles and kindness. Spread the word, I want to see this place packed next time I come to visit!!

If I could give more stars, I would. The food is just genuinely good. You can actually taste the fact that the pork and brisket were smoked overnight. Our server, Tara, was impeccable, and Mandy (the GM) made us feel right at home.Vegetarian options: This is a bar-b-que restaurant. Though with that said, I believe a vegetarian would be able to find something on the menu to fill them up.Kid-friendliness: Great family/kid atmosphere. Kids menu/coloring page available.Parking: There's plenty of spaces to choose from. Also, it's located directly next to the I70 off-ramp. Can't miss it.

Typical BBQ restaurant vibe. Super friendly staff, food came out quick and very hot. We stopped here because Doug wanted BBQ. The vegan options are very minimal. I ordered off the sides menu, green beans and a plain baked potato, both were delicious, fresh, and I was happy. I would have given 5 stars if they had at least one vegan entree. The BBQ sauces are vegan and they were delicious on the potato. It was conveniently located within walking distance of our hotel. If you like BBQ, I recommend it.Vegetarian options: Only vegetarian or vegan options are from the sides menu. I didn't see a vegan salad dressing option.Dietary restrictions: I would have given 5 stars if they offered a vegan entree. I was able to eat vegan by ordering from the sides menu.

I ordered the pulled pork to go. It was perfect. It makes great highway food. It makes a great snack when you’re driving. It tastes great 3 hours later. No other food does that. ?DeliciousWheelchair accessibility: Easy

I am from Texas where barbeque is king. So my expectations are high. I was not impressed with the food at all. The counter at the bar had something sticky all over it and it took 15 minutes just to place a walk in order. The only upside were the waitresses were friendly and talkative, though that may be because there weren't many customers in the place.

Love Bandana’s in Evansville as they seem to have a perfect operation and are ALWAYS packed and there are long lines. Terre Haute is just ok as it seems they are never busy and the food for seem to match Evansville’s. I think the Terre Haute should make a visit down to Evansville and watch how they do things. Evansville Bandana’s location compares to Terre Haute’s Texas Roadhouse where waitresses happily greet you as you come in and are always smiling. You don’t get that same feel at Bandana’s Terre Haute. It may be the location, but every time we go there are hardly anybody there and no long lines of people wanting to come into this place. We definitely don’t want them to close, but it seems they are nowhere near other Bandana locations/atmosphere/food quality.
