Food is good, service was great. However, the sushi rolls are not as good as any of the other hibachi restaurants I have been to.

Love Japanese food, tried the Habachi Dinners, it was excellent. I had the Shrimp and Scallop my husband had the Steak and Chicken. The sushi looks fabulous, everything was fresh it's a must if you're local or if your just traveling through. $$ but well worth it.

I travel frequently for my job. I ask locals the best places to eat. This place was recommended to me to try out. I walked in on a Thursday evening at 630pm, asked for to sit at the Hibachi table. The host said they can't sit me at the Hibachi table because I am one person. I have had hibachi in many cities across the US. She asked a manager and she also said NO, we cant sit a party of 1 at Hibachi. I wasn't wanting a personal hibachi table, I just wanted dinner like everyone else. There is always extra seats, even with COVID19. The hostess said I could sit in the restaurant area, so I did. But the experience was already ruined and embarrassing to be told I can't sit where everyone else is. Many people travel for their job, and eat alone. The food was not hot when I received it, the taste was good though.

The sushi is outstanding! We received excellent service from Caleb. The fish is fresh, like tasting the ocean. The pricing is inline with other upscale restaurants. Will definitely be back.
Great place for sushi, I recommend this place for anyone who enjoys great service, clean environment, and fresh food. Keep up the good work Tokyo.

Always a great time. Enjoyed our sons' 18th birthday party with family and friends. Both chefs were personable and fantastic showmen. All dinners looked delicious. Got to share the grill with three lovely ladies from Clinton, Indiana. All seemed to have a great time.

Very good place. Everything is delicious, the prices of the menu speak for itself, very good .

Tokyo is hands down my favorite restaurant in Terre Haute. Among the Asian Cuisine restaurants in the area, there are only a couple that measure up to the food and atmosphere that I find there. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and the food is wonderful. I will say though, you get what you pay for. My usual bill is around $25. Today I indulged a little and got the Steak Negimaki which with a side of Calamari , miso , and side salad: cost around $32 before tip. Of the dishes that I've tried, my favorite is the Katsu Don Vuri. I usually get that unless I'm feeling spontaneous, today was that day. the Negimaki was absolutely worth the extra money as it was outright delicious. my only regret is I didnt let it cool before I began eating and burned my mouth (still worth it). as for dessert, my favorite is the fried banana. come and give it a try

Tokyo has the best fried rice (I got an additional side of yum yum sauce) and loved trying these two rolls for the first time. Yes, I ate this entire plate of rice and we shared the rolls.
