First time. We sat at the bar and the staff could not have been nicer. Let us sample the beer without even asking. I recommend the oatmeal stout. It's kind of a drive for us but we will definitely be back.

Came here on a Sunday for lunch with 10 adults and 11 kids. They were happy to accommodate us. I had the egg blt, never had one before, but it was definitely a good choice. Sorry it took this long to try this place out.

Eh. Not amazing. Very underwhelmed by the appetizers. Especially the baked onion rings and Mac and cheese cake. Beer and cider was good!

The staff at Figure Eight went above and beyond to make sure my fiancé’s surprise proposal went perfectly. The ladies were amazing and the special touch of giving me a framed copy of the personalized proposal beer menu meant the world to me. Figure Eight was our first date place and now our engagement place, they’ll always have a special place in our hearts

Nice place, but the beer is just okay. With so many exceptional brewpubs popping up, a rebranding and reassessment of what they are trying to do might help make them be more competitive in the completely saturated beer and local brewpub game. Worth a stop, but there are better options out there in my opinion.

We don't live in Valpo, but when we go to the dunes we make a point to stop here. The patio is dog friendly, and the servers are obviously dog lovers! The food and beer are both great! Everything made in house and it shows!
Stopped in for a beer and some food on a beautiful Saturday. The food was very good. My wife and I shared the artichoke dip w/nan. It was some of the best I've ever had. Our sandwiches were just as good. The service was good and friendly. I almost forgot to mention that they are pet friendly for you animal lovers. In fact, there was a 25 lb. rabbit when we were there.

Most of the time on a Saturday evening in downtown Valparaiso, you'll think you won't find a place to eat without a timely wait. Not at Figure Eight. Simply walk right in and take a seat. The beer menu, while not too numerous in selection, has a disciplined level of quality. For me, I sampled a pond of the Ro Shampo Imperial Red. My oh my did it leave me wanting another one! Now I'm not going to go too far into the beer, I'll allow it to sell itself to you. What awaited me after I placed my order was the sizable Mac n' Cheese Burger. This delectable burger was topped with Figure Eight's beer cheese Mac and on the bottom was a palate-stimulating aioli sauce that provided the right amount of snap at the end. Now this burger is for no mere mortal, you must at least skip a meal prior to tackling this cheesy beast. As I wiped my mouth clean, I thought to myself, "woah great fella! There's still beer and chips to finish. And finish them I did indeed! You know something is spectacular if you walk away full, plate empty, and ready for a nap.

Worst food I’ve eaten in the region, and the service wasn’t any better. Some how in an empty restaurant at lunch time, and waitress was no where to be found. Vampire slayer burger was chard, greasy, and some one thought it was a good idea to cover it in minced garlic. Tasted like I ate a garlic clove, and I like garlic. Also my wife had the chicken tacos and just cold and gross. After waitress returned fifteen minutes later to check on food, and seemed insulted about my comment on the burger. Don’t worry because when she showed up another fifteen minutes later with check she said she would take care of the burger and the macaroni order she had messed up, and just not very friendly. If I could I’d give them zero stars
