Fantastic food and good service! The only thing holding this place back are the inconsistent hours. Posted hours are 11-3, but some times they close at 2pm. Today while I was there the owner stated that tonight he was having a Baked Potato Bar from 5-7. They have even tried Saturday hours now and then... even the best food wont keep customers comming when we dont know when its going to be served.
I stopped by this place on my way to a meeting as I passed through Winamac. Was it the best sub I've ever had in my life...no. Is it the best sub within a 50 mile radius...yes. The owner is pouring his soul into this place. The ingredients are fresh, the bread is baked every morning, and the salad bar had a ton of options. That's a enough for me to be a repeat costumer the next time I'm in the area.
Man I'll tell you what these sandwiches and soups that are in here are amazing and so unique. Bread always taste amazing but the real winner in my book is the cilantro lime vinaigrette. I put that on any sandwich I have.
