Stopped here last night(Friday). Never been here before, but Mexican buffets aren't too common, so I stopped because of the novelty. The service was great and the atmosphere was fine. The most important part for me is the food. The selection was fair, but I wasn't impressed by the quality of the food. The potatoes were good as was the chocolate cake. The enchiladas were not to my liking, neither was the fish or the chicken dish. I've been to one other Mexican buffet, that was in Omaha. Wasn't impressed with that one either.

We were there on a busy Friday night. We ordered off the menu. Food was fast and delicious. We ordered chips and salsa. Absolutely the best chips I've ever eaten! Chose to sit at a table rather than a booth so had to sit by the buffet but it was fun to people watch from there.

Anchor has been my favorite restaurant since I was a child and they had Anchor Room in Salina, KS. Now, we make the drive to Hutch just to have Anchor Inn. The service is always fantastic and friendly! The menu offers great portions for affordable prices and the buffet offers a great variety of dishes that you can pair up any way you want. My personal favorite is to top the cheese enchiladas with pork and then get a variety of other options as sides. Mmmm! Soooo good! If I have room for dessert there is always a good selection available so everyone should be able to find something for their sweet tooth. You cant go wrong with their mousse and some fresh berries! I definitely recommend giving Anchor Inn a try!
