“This place is not as bad as the more recent reviews have made it out to be. I went here for a few drinks and some bar food - and it was perfectly acceptable! The bar tender service was actually very good. I assume the management just let themselves go - leading to the poor reviews it has recently seen. However, while I was there - there was a meeting between what I assume was the franchise owner or regional manager and the management from this location - so whatever was causing the poor reviews, seems to be trying to be corrected. Do not let the couple bad reviews dissuade you from going, I had a perfectly acceptable Applebees experience. Was it world class??? No, of course not - it's an Applebees, what did you expect.This place is a perfectly fine location for a quick dinner or some drinks - bonus points for being right next to the hotel.“
“The food was good, service was quick and efficient. We had the classic broccoli chicken alfredo and double glazed baby back ribs with garlic mash in place of fries. The food was good although the alfredo was cold. I also had a margarita which was good. I’d say we would definitely go back and probably next time ask for the cold food to be remade as it wasn’t even really busy so there was no reason for cold food.“
