The food looked good but tasted so bad. The rice is bad quality and the shrimps were so salted we left all the food the only thing we ate was the cheese quesadilla whitch you can’t really mess up the beans and rice were all left and still had to pay for it that We didn’t eat, which wasn’t a problem, but definitely won’t be going back

My best friend went to eat here and he had diarrhea and was vomiting and throwing up the rest of the day. He went with his friend who ended up also having diarrhea and vomiting.

I forgot all about this place! Very very good authentic Mexican food. The restaurant is small, but really clean. Because it is very close to I-635, I-35 and the University of Kansas Medical Center campus, it’s a great place to go for lunch.

Service was incredible, and the food was delicious. What more can you ask for. I wish I would have known of this place when I lived in Kansas City, this would’ve been the normal spot.

Ordered on the phone. Ask for chimichanga ground beef no rice. It is supposed to come with sour cream and guacamole but I got home no sour cream or guacamole.
I called back. Girl on phone not sorry. Only offered for me to drive back to the restaurant to pick up the rest of what was missing. Restaurant not close to my house. She didn't offer a discount or a coupon for my next visit. I told her I would give a poor review. She was okay with it and hung up.
So here is my review. The chimichanga was soaking in runny cheese sauce thus soggy. The chimichanga was overloaded with salt.
The mild sauce that came with it on the side was watered down. The side of beans were good although they were also runny.
For takeout they don't offer any chips.
I will not be back.

I loved my chicken tequitos, refried beans and rice! Very good. Guacamole was fresh and delicious and my kids enjoyed the chicken tacos and chicken quesadilla. I'd prefer the salsa to be less runny and more flavorful, but, being complimentary, I'm not complaining, just expressing a personal preference. Good overall. I'll definitely order again!
