I was disappointed with our stay. First, we had a room in the basement/1st floor. Our window was high up from the floor, so our view was the bottom half of a shrub and the parking lot. Upon checking in, we noticed a sign at the front desk that advertised bath bombs. We attempted to purchase one for a relaxing soak in the tub, but were told we couldn't purchase one because they were saving them for customers who might purchase a package that retired them. The room was tiny, and the furniture had quite a bit of wear and tear. Overall, it's overpriced for what you'll get in return. Your money will be better spent elsewhere.
A romantic getaway. I must admit that the hotel needs some upgrades but it is a nice place to get away especially during COVID. My significant other enjoyed the surprise.
Horrible stay last night. Partner decided to book a room for a sweet romantic celebration and let me in on the secret so I could choose the room. Check in should have been contactless but he was asked to provide his physical credit card. We had difficulty finding our room; there were more signs for the bar than to direct guests to their rooms. The workers we came across in the hallway were condescending when my partner suggested more signs for the rooms: “well it just goes around in a circle”. The bed was extremely comfortable but that was the only good part. There were noticeable chips in room decor and the large space in the bathroom is quite wasted with only a sink and toilet. We tried a soak in the tub which is certainly not meant for two people, much less one tall one-I am 5’ 9” and fitting my long legs comfortably was somewhat of a stretch. There was no visible way to shut off the shower so we filled the tub from the spigot and the shower head. Ended up with a migraine and we had to call it a night early. I assumed I would be in for a restful night but was awoken by hammering and drilling around 9 in the morning. Apparently we booked a room below one that was being remodeled-no notice, no discounted rate, nothing. When my partner called, he was told of the remodeling and given an apology but that was it. When we checked out, it was the same canned response; “I apologize”. How absolutely insane. It is called the hospitality industry yet we received absolutely nothing close to hospitality here. When you are paying 150 dollars a night, you expect for things to be at a certain standard. Entirely unacceptable and unprofessional conduct; any other hotel we have stayed at with construction or remodeling we have been informed before booking and at check in with a discounted rate. Have been able to book two room suites at this price with much better customer service and much better amenities. Neither one of us will be returning and I would never dream of recommending a stay to anybody.
Great experience from booking to stay and Checking out! I worked with Cindy I believe she is one of the managers there and she went above and beyond to accommodate my request! We order bottle service, massage, rose petals, chocolate strawberries, the whole romance package which I highly recommend! Our theme room was West African and we were blown away! Anytime we needed something they were faster than Jimmy Johns delivery! Hats off to the entire staff and ownership. We really enjoyed ourselves and my wife had a fabulous birthday!! Certainly we will return again, but the next time I want to stay in the Egyptian theme room. I highly recommend this place!!
Had a great time. I recommend going down to the bar. Had a great time with the bartender his wife and other guest. Outside was beautiful. We had a massage and mary kate got our food in record time, So we could eat before we went. The massage was amazing and the women giving it was so cool. Can't wait to come back .
This is our 3rd visit to the Chateau. Needed a short getaway. Room was in need of a little repair. Damages to the wooden nightstand etc. What REALLY disappointed me was when I sat down in the hot tub & saw bondage items under the edge of the bed left from the last visitors!! With this pandemic, this place should be in tip-top perfect shape!
Nice Jacuzzi tubs and theme room. Romantic for time with that special someone. Prices weren't bad. Could use a few more amenities, like a pool, room service menu or even a TV channel list in the room. Nice atmosphere.
Hotel Staff member Chanelle was exceptional and went above and beyond to make our stay very special! We recommend "Pirates Cove" room! The atmosphere is quite unique and with the Jacuzzi made for quite the Romantic Weekend!...also Romantic Patio and Spring Flowers
Great romantic getaway! Pat in the Nile bar was exceptional. Would have been perfect if the fountains were going. Highly recommend.
Cool little getaway from home. Fun rooms to choose from. A bit pricey but something different.
My husband and I went for a short get away. It was the perfect location. The room is cozy, the bed is comfortable and there are many things to do in the area! It is BEAUTIFUL!
Had a great time there with the wife. The bar is a must stop in. Pat the bartender is the best. Rooms are great I stay at hotels all the time and this one is by far the best.
Pat (the bartender) is an absolute dream. Trust him to surprise you with a phenomenal cocktail or the best Bloody Mary of your life (no joke... it's killer!) Definitely worth the 3 hour drive for us!
This place is Amazing. I felt like a princess living in a castle. Great staff. Very nice hotel room.
Came here with my wife to experience the castaway room. Very nice place. Front desk was very friendly on check in. Room is clean, and as advertised. Hot tub certainly big enough for two. Great proximity to the Legends, the race track and soccer stadium. Prices for in-room for very reasonable. Room is higher than a normal hotel but you're getting a great experience for the money. Very happy so far.
