So I stumbled on this spot after driving to El Pollo Rey and finding it closed. I took a chance on a smaller, little known gem and I'm so glad I did! The chicken is moist, tender, and magnificently seasoned. The skin isn't very crispy because it's more smoked than grilled. But the star of the show? THE RIBS. Dios Mio! OMG! This place is FANTASTIC! A small apparently family owned business. Their dinners come with a whole or half chicken. Get the whole chicken! I got carryout as usual for me and am really into Mexican food, hitting dozen of spots for decades in KC. This place has some unique flavors and sauces that I have never had before.
