Came on a Thursday for their strip loin special. It was one of the best steaks I have had in a very long time, by far the best strip steak I have ever had. Highly recommend.

8 of us there for our daughter's 40th birthday dinner. We had a private room which was unexpected but awesome because we were kinda loud! Hostess greated us warmly. Our server was SO awesome and did everything to make the service of our drinks and meals timely and accurate. Brought out birthday desert too with candle, so sweet! The food and drinks were excellent and that is becoming a rarity! Enjoyed so very much!! Thank you!!

Virginia knows exactly how to run this 5-star restaurant. We never have to wonder how the food will come out because it has been perfect in all of the 6 visits we've made here. Juan is just simply the best at what he does and the service he provides is second to none.

The steak I ordered was completely raw. Nobody was around to tell about this and get it fixed, so we sat around and didn't eat. It was noticed when we paid that we didn't eat our food and it still wasn't acknowledged. Overall super disappointing especially for the price.

Best restaurant in Kansas City area. Great food! Great steaks and the salmon is amazing. We have a favorite server, Juan. He very possible knows what we want before we tell him. Don't miss this place!

Had date night at Final Cut and I must say it was wonderful. From our amazing server to the best prime rib I can remember having everything was just right. My husband had the crab cakes appetizer, with the salmon Oscar and lobster mashed potatoes on the side. I did the prime rib and loaded baked potato. Ended our meal with the lemon meringue dessert and it was tangy and delightful. Will definitely be back.

Had dinner in the bar section of the restaurant. Smaller area but good if you are alone or just with 1 other and don't want to sit in the dining room. The bar itself was stocked nicely with several liquers and high end spirits. Our server/bartender was Gus. He was extremely nice and knowledgeable about the items available at the bar as well as the entire food menu. Started with the seasonal oysters. A little on the smaller side, but very tasty. Came with 3 separate sauce options which was nice. For the main we shared a 7oz filet and the Chilean Sea Bass. The filet was definitely a nice cut that was cooked perfectly to order. The sea bass was a little bland. Not sure if it was the fish itself or that it just needed better accompaniment. Also had the lobster mac n cheese as a side. Very tasty with good size pieces of lobster. Overall a good experience. I would try again for sure and give other items on the menu a taste. The service Gus provided was a definite plus. Thanks Gus!

The food and service was great.... Steak cooked as I liked medium with so much flavor and my Brussel sprouts were delicious.. the crème brûlée was creamy and light and a perfect end to my meal.the ambiance was nice..quiet with light music in the background and our seats were a view of speedway.. so we know next time we can get a good seat to watch the races!!

Can't rave enough about the Final Cut. Juan, or server was perfect. The bread was delicious and the butter was just a bit sweet and a perfect match. I had the shrimp and scallop linguine with a savory french onion soup, and my wife had the 10 oz filet with lobster mashed potatoes. We shared little bites together as we enjoyed our view of the speedway. Perfect date night.

WHAT HAPPENED!?Let me start off saying that I have been to this restaurant more than a handful of times in the last 8 years. This last visit was nothing compared to the times I have been there before. I always order the scallops and shrimp and usually an appetizer. My scallops were mushy and the pan seared iron skillet taste still on them. That should say a lot. I used to enjoy coming here and getting a decent meal for what you pay for it. This was a waste. I don't know what happened but I hope it changes for the better.

I understand some food items are hard to come by. I was highly disappointed from times past. Steak selection was not what I would call even decent for a steak house of this caliber. I honestly think some foods were prepared package types.Service and atmosphere were good.

Thank you Final Cut for hosting a Yelp event. We had a great time. All the food we had was good. I didn't know really what to expect from a casino steakhouse. You do have to walk through the casino and there are no sign on the outside of the casino to mention that they have a steakhouse or restaurant. For me this is a miss. I get it that they want you to gamble, but the restaurant is good and should get its own credit. Also once inside the restaurant you don't notice that you are in a casino, including the cigarette smell. Which I was worried about. I don't want to be having a nice meal and smell cigarettes. The food was seasoned well and had a variety of different flavors. Like the elk with a compote and chili sauce. My filet was cooked perfectly. I like my steaks rare and it is hard for a lot of places. This one was great. It had a coffee and pepper rub which was really good. Then they ended us with chocolate cake, which is always a yes.

Hollywood Final Cut you get aaaaallll the stars. The team was lovely, the ambience dreamy, and for a casino color me impressed. From start to finish it was dreamy, but the star was my perfectly cooked and carmelized ribeye. When I say it's in my top 5, I mean it's #1. *chefs kiss* no really could kiss the chef! Chocolate temptation should not be missed. Balanced sweet chocolate, tart raspberries and rounded out with cream. VIP level night, thank you Final Cut! Taken care of by none other than the delightfully charming Juan, you're the best! Maybe strange but worth noting, because the thought occurred to me as I was dining, relaxing and enjoy conversation. I was able to focus on my meal and the person across from me. I've never been before because I have children, and no one can enter underage. Well it's just a perk I thought worth mentioning. My kid free evening was throughly enjoyed.

Unbelievable is the word that comes to mind as I reflect on the magical time I had at The Final Cut Yelp Elite Event at Hollywood Casino. From the time I entered the door I felt like Royalty (for real). A kind gentleman (security) greeted me with such warmth and kindness and honey it was on...the red carpet was rolled OUT! He pointed me in the direction that I needed to be and off I went. The next step was to check in and the two wonderful people that did the honors were just as phenomenal. Can you believe it? I was on a roll. They too were as welcoming as ever. I sashayed in like 'Queen B' & waited to be seated. First off, a warm basket of bread was placed on the table & oh my it was 'The Most' tasty bread. The butter didn't seem ordinary (sure it was a specialty blend). Yum! Shortly after the appetizers arrived... a giant shrimp, red chili seared elk loin & a mini crab cake. Shutchomouth! Incredibly delectable. I could do nothing but savor each bite as I sunk my pearly whites into each...all the while my palate did 'the happy dance.' There was so much flavor infused into these appetizers & they were cooked to perfection. I could definitely have them all on a regular.... A little bit later my house salad came accompanied by sherry AND blue cheese vinaigrette dressing (I'm quite the mixologist when it comes to dressing). Chile, this combination, umph...mouthwatering to say the least. By this time I was getting pretty full, but HAD to leave room for the main thing...the entree...THE bone-in ribeye topped with crab & asparagus underneath the steak. It was incredibly succulent & by far one of The Best ribeyes I have EVER had. I could've literally slapped the chef, it was just that good! Last, but of course not least was the scrumptious chocolate mousse cake with a mini scoop of raspberry sorbet & a dollop of whipped cream. What a way to end a fantabulous meal. Hands down Everything was 'top notch'. I had the privilege of dining with two educators that I got to know a little bit about. There was great conversation, laughs & a whole new list of restaurants to try. Thanks ladies! I am so blessed to have Sarah as my Community Manager & to have experienced such splendor at this event. Kudos to all the Final Cut staff for making this experience meaningful & memorable & a time that I won't soon forget. As I exited the restaurant I was again met with 'Thank you's & other pleasantries that warmed my heart & left me cheerful & encouraged that there are Still plenty of great folks in the world that Know how to serve with excellence, class & style! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
