I Had a blast here with my girls. Very kid friendly with so much activities to do with the kids there. The water park area was awesome! I will come back for sure! Price is a hit high.

Service was very good. Everyone was extremely friendly, and you could get help at any given time. Lifeguards were very vigilant as well. The issue I had was the smell of chlorine was overwhelming. I understand thousands of people have to use this facility, but that was the reason why my kids swam once while we stayed there for the weekend. It overwhelmed their noses.Paying over $1000 for the room, I expected something as cool as I saw on the pictures. When we walked into our room, I was very disappointed. It was very outdated and felt stuffy. The pictures looked spacious and cozier. The tiny tv in the kid’s bunk bed area was very old. Ours was too.At the end of the day, my kids enjoyed the facilities and the overall experience. There were activities every few hours, a candy store and a little cafe. They had the experience of sharing a room with the two adults, instead of using connecting rooms.

Paid for 4 nights and ended up staying for 3 with our family of 4. Starting with the highlights: If you’re looking for a fun time at the water park, look no further. Our 2 children had a blast and there was plenty for them to do. It can get a bit crowded at busier times but overall it was the highlight of the trip. The arcade was one of the best I’ve seen in terms of the games available and everything being in clean/working order and the kids had fun for the 20 minutes their “paws” lasted them. That brings me to the cons: prepare to be price-gouged at every turn. Think you paid for pretty much anything in advance? Think again. Prices are ridiculously expensive just about everything from their gift shop, to their food and drinks, to their magiquest game you think you paid for in advance with their paw passes, but think again, there are crazy up charges for all of it. I guess this should be expected with any entertainment chain nowadays. Check in staff was friendly and helpful but the family suite we stayed in was in need of repair from the trim being ready to fall off to the holes in the walls. The reasons we left early though wer the unsupervised older kids sprinting in the hallways until 11:00pm when “quiet” hours began and the air conditioning unit that made the room sound like an airplane hanger every time it kicked on. The water park opening at 10:00 every day was a bit tricky too with their basically being nothing to do until then outside of their crazy, hectic magiquest game opening at 9. The water park and service staff were not the friendliest at times and quick to yell at you if you do something outside of their expectations. If you’re in the area, highly recommend the water park. But do yourself a favor, stay in a different hotel and get outside food and drink.

Me my husband and 2 children stayed here in Kansas City this last weekend we arrived march 15 Friday and left on Sunday march 17th. While the waterpark was great and the kids loved going to the arcade, going to build a bear, searching for gems, and running around in the laser tag room, most of the issues we had was with the staff. I was told upon arrival that I could have our room cleaned aka fresh sheets on the bed, fresh towels, emptied trash cans, ect. whatever is needed to simply call in the morning and the request would be taken care of. Great! Well the following morning I call and I am informed that they do not and will not clean our room upon request. They would only bring clean sheets and towels to the door (they would leave them in the hallway outside our room I would have to make the bed myself. keep in mind we paid about 450$ a night for our room plus the passes, extra money spent at the arcade, build a bear, ect. so I dont think I should be cleaning and making the bed on my vacation) but would not clean the room even though we were told the day before that it would be done we only had to call. no apology eathier for the so called misunderstanding. I also requested a wake up call and was told that they would do that. Following morning I never received a wake up call and when I asked the front desk about it they told me they dont do that. (Seems like a trend here to tell your guests yes and then no. Is it true or is your staff just lazy? ?). again no apology. I only received rude remarks from the front desk. The buffet breakfast was great our first morning. Food was hot. Only complaint the first morning is the additude I received from staff when I didnt want to give her my cell phone number (I want to make it clear I dont believe the girl was the host but more like a manager. She wouldnt give me her name but I can tell u she worked saturday morning breakfast around 10am.) I left my phone in the room. The wait was 10 minutes. I told her we would just stand right across from them in clear sight maybe 4 feet from them and wait. She rolled her eyes at me as if it was such an inconveniencefor me to not want to hand out my cellphone number.Full blown attitude from her after that. When she sat us I told her thank you she rolled her eyes again and ignored me and my family the rest of the time. I was not rude matter of fact I went out of my way to show gratitude only to be met with rude behavior. The next morning for breakfast at the buffet. There was NO silverware. my kids sat for 20 minutes while my husband asked for silverware from 3 different people before we got it. By then their food was cold so I had to go back through the line again making plates. As a mom juggling 3 plates with toddlers is a pain. So thanks for the hectic morning there.Rooms: Was okay, bathroom smaller then expected.

The kids absolutely loved the kid's camp cabin along with the activities in the swimming area, which was a lot of fun. The adults' only hot tub was a nice surprise as well. Overall, the hotel was very clean and provided lots of different things to do and food to eat. Location is easy to get to with good access to nearby stores and restaurants.

This was our first visit to Great Wolf Lodge so I wasn't sure what to expect. The water park was okay. Pros were the slides, both the big and small slides. My kids loved those. We also enjoyed the lazy river and tower. Cons, the pool area is really outdated and needs a fresh coat of paint and some updates. Alao it is not accessible for anyone with physical disabilities. Chairs are cluttered up everywhere, and it is incredibly difficult to walk. Our room was nice, we just had a room with two queen beds and a sleeper sofa on the first floor. Very comfortable beds and the room was clean. We got a dining plan in advance and I wish we wouldn't have. Even with the plan the food was incredibly overpriced. In the Waterpark area the burgers and chicken sandwich was good but overpriced. The soda fountain is a joke and doesn't even fill your overpriced drink half way before turning off. The employees aren't helpful in that regard at all. The restaurant in the hotel portion was so expensive and the food was bad at both dinner and breakfast. The breakfast buffet was like 20 bucks and they were out of almost everything at 9 a.m. I won't eat there again. I'll bring in our food ans drinks next time and just go to our room to eat. The arcade was awesome. My son loved it.

Very disappointed in our visit. Room wasn’t clean. Someone else’s hair was in the tub. Food was not worth the money it cost. (Was like gas station food). Will not be coming

Im terribly disappointed in my stay at wolf lodge this time. I have been coming here for 4 years. I have a 5 3 2 6month old so when i say wolf lodges are usually perfect for my family that is why whenever we travel we pick a place with a Wolf lodge. This time my husband could not get off work so I decided i could still take all 4 kids seeing how the resorts advertises everything you need in one place. The staff was absolutely horrible I will never come back to the Kansas City location. I bought the breakfast package after the first day it was to hard to serve 4 kids buffet style so I asked to turn my vouchers for the buffet in for 1 to go box for me and all the kids to share got told no. There goes 178 dollars . Then their main food place camp critter for dinners is buffet too and the same thing they wouldn’t let me make a to go box to feed my kids in a hotel room. Let me tell you something after a full day of swommming and playing my kids are not going to make it through a restaurant style buffet with one parent . This place is not friendly for single parents

Kids love the place. It's fun for what it is, but it's super expensive and then nickel and dime you with all the upgrades.

This was our second visit and probably our last. The check in process wasn't awful. I did have some issues with the stay however.1)They don't offer room service. You have to ask for sheets and towels, put the old items on the floor outside your door and do your own bedding changes etc. For how much this place charges, I expected more.2) They seem to have introduced bubble guns as new GWL merchandise and they have decided to upsell it during the dance party. Horrible decision. It's indoor, there's multiple people with the bubble guns including the people leading the dance, children with limited supervision who point them right at other children and ofcourse my child got bubbles in her eyes even though we tried to swat away as many as we could. What was supposed to be a great night turned into me flushing her bloodshot eyes with purified water. Now she won't go to the dance party unless we stand on the balcony on the 3rd floor and dance from there. It's not the same and that was her favorite part. When I told GWL, they didn't seem all that bothered because I'm sure they make a killing off those overpriced bubble wands. Much more than the business of one family. They offered me eye flushing solution and I was happy to come get it only to find a bottle with a broken seal. Anyone with a basic grasp of crosscontamination knows that the tip of an eye flushing bottle is a breeding ground for bacteria. I don't know who used it last and I wasn't about to give my daughter an eye infection on top of the misery she was in. I was livid to say the least. I was ready to go home at that point.3)The loft fireplace suite boasts 8 people capacity and that's fine but you better all be ready to live out of your suitcases. There were no drawers on the miniscule shared nightstand on the main level that's already overtaken by a phone and a giant clock. Two drawers under one TV and the upstairs loft got the same.4)The countertop room to prepare any meal or snack is at about 4 feet with a sink, an ice bucket, a coffee maker that doesn't take Kcups (it takes some square cartridges only they seem to carry, why would you do that?!?!??!!) and some miscellaneous items. It was hell every time.5)The mini fridge dial was missing and apparently set at Freeze. It froze our food solid including apples and ofcourse they were ruined because once they thaw, everything will be a soggy mess.6) This one is on parents. Watch your kids for crying out loud. We had underage kids in the adult hot tub. Mine begged, I said no. The lazy river is also just that. It's supposed to be a relaxing time. Well, that's hard to do when your constantly splashed, bumped into and have kids running around tipping people floating on their tubes. The tube acquisition system is also stupid. People on them put them on the concrete islands so you have to get in, cause a traffic jam just waiting for someone to decide to be done. I mean really ?.7)The paw pass is okay. I got the paw pass. The Arcade one might as well be taken off and the free goggles reinstated. One swipe and you're done unless you play one more cheaper game. Now you have a sad kid with 12 tickets and they want to play so ofcourse you pay more and it's the same, poof. Gone. This time I was ready. I told my group that they go quick and once they were done, that was it. It's basically a bait and switch. Don't do it.8)Overall, this place is great for a night, two max. Also, dance on the balcony to avoid rushing your child up four floors to try and relieve them of whatever amount of distress concentrated soap solution must have caused my little girl.Returning here is pretty debatable by myself and the extended family I brought along.

We checked in at 11am to us the water park for the day our room was ready by 1pm which was nice to be able to use it..Been to multiple Great Wolf Lodges this one is definitely the smallest..The water park is mainly for younger kids there is only three slides for others to use and the lazy river is very small..Afyer the water park we went to get ice cream and they were out of cones and they only had one person working which made the line and wait long for the kids..
