Frozen custard OK, but actually huge footprint with function of an old Fotomat. No bathroom, broken water fountain, no longer any seating (except in direct Kansas summer sun), no indoors. Really mediocre experience.
We think Sheridan's has the best frozen custard anywhere! We deliberately plan our travels on I-70 so we can stop there. While it is a little pricey, it's worth it for a treat. Everything is made fresh daily. There's a drive thru but we prefer to take a break and sit at one of the outside tables. The area is kept clean and during the summer there are flowers making it pleasant. There's a little panini shop attached but we didn't eat there this time, but have in the past.

Sheridans is yum! Lots of combinations to please anyone! I win free sheridans for a year with a facebook contest so a friend and I went for a treat today. The mocha almond is very good, chocolatey and nutty. My friend got the red velvet cheesecake with oreo, she commented how the different flavors came together and the cheesecake bites were a treat! Great place for kids , they can get gummy worms in their ice cream. :)
