I just moved here I'm a head chef and I ordered some food from chens for the first time because I didn't want to cook tonight after my shift and food was cold my crab ragoons were burnt and unedible and I ordered white rice I got fried rice my Hunan was soggy and horrible i threw it away. If I knew that the food was this bad I would of cooked my own food. I think you guys could do better for a 3.9 star restaurant.

Food is mid. Anything that says it’s spicy isn’t spicy at all. Didn’t get any sauces for my dumplings, rangoons. Rangoons were burnt, and didn’t contain any crab.
Good food and reasonable prices with very large portion sizes. Loved it
Not open for carry out until 12 like the website says. Took my order and card number, and charged me for my order. They then said I had 10 minutes to pick it up. I told them I couldn't be there in that time and the person on the phone laughed at me. Terrible service. They should not have taken payment before letting me know when I needed to be there. They also need to make sure they're actual hours are correct where ever they post them. Fortunately there are plenty of other places Chinese restaurants in Manhattan. I recommend Imperial Garden Express

My uncle Chen over here got some of the best Chinese in Manhattan. Its not the best Chinese food I ever had but its the best you can get around here. But for real, no relations with owner 😂, just another Chinese guy with the same last time.

If you need Chinese take out - this the place
Been here for three days and this was by far the worst food we’ve had in manhattan. In was unanimous with the group it was almost inedible. The cashew chicken seemed to have real cashews but the chicken certainly didn’t taste like chicken. It tasted like maybe they were using chicken parts that maybe go into hot dogs or something. Not quality chicken like breast, thigh, legs anything recognizable. Trust me on this one. I can eat anything and everything good or not. I ate most of it but it’s the worst mean I’ve had in 6 months 🤦🏻♂️. Be suspicious of Restaurants and businesses with a 4.2 or lower google rating.
