Town topic has great burgers. The burgers are thin. It is small and always crowded. Locals love this place. The staff is friendly and efficient. They do a great job of taking orders and getting people in and out. We usually eat in and have always gotten a seat. Some people take their order to go. I love their hot chocolate. Soo tasty. Decent cheeseburger - a bit pricey for what you get. (they do have a version with bigger patties, but it's even pricier) These are about the size of McDonald's regular burger. I'm unfortunately not a fan of one of their most popular features - the grilled onions they pile on unless you ask them not to. And considering I can get just as good or better a burger for less elsewhere, I don't see this place becoming a regular stop for me.

Every time I walk into Town Topic on Broadway, a sense of calm washes over me: Comfort food is near. My banter with the delightful servers is always the same. They ask how I am; I say “OK.” The food there is tasty. But I am also grateful for the vibe, for the routine, for the familiar kindness of everyone who works there. Local places like this make a neighborhood feel like home. Thank you Town Topic!
