Horrible service wait five minutes for the bartender to show up to ask me for a drink. Ordered a bud select gave me bottle which is fine but the last time I was in the place they only had cans which were way colder and the did even have a chance to tell him I didn't want the warm beer took one drink and left 6 dollars shouldn't have left that because I did want too wait and see how long it would of took the bartender too come back. Also too add the bar stunk stale beer not clean well but it wasn't just me leaving asked the couple that just sat down and asked if they noticed the smell and they agreed their was alittle smell of stale beer nasty and horrible customer service this was a great place when they first opened but can see it's failing within 2 yrs

This was our first time here and I'm shocked at the reviews. We were seated and waited on right away. Our waitress Ali was amazing. She answered all questions we had since it was our first time. She was also very attentive. Food came out in a timely manner and was all very good. This will definitely be a top go to for us now.

I've been here for happy hour a couple of times. Love the happy hour specials. They have excellent selection of not only appetizers but also drinks. Both appetizers and drinks are $5. The food is delicious. The fries are amazing and so are the corndogs. Will definitely be back.

Yall.....I am on top of my game for pictures. I am the picture queen. Somehow I managed to forget to take pictures and I'm SO upset I did!! We were craving some happy hour dishes - appetizers - If you will...but wanted to try out somewhere new. I read all the reviews but decided to go for it anyways. Service was slow....just like everyone else said. Food was eh.....just like everyone else said. Annnd that about sums it up! We tried the $5 nachos (terrible....not only were they terrible but they were beyond terrible....and idk how that's possible.) They look so appealing! But NOPE. The sliders....hard pass. They were dry, cold, even more dry.... And the loaded fries would of been great had they been hot. I think they sat in the window for 30 min. I'm gonna say it's probably a no for returning from us unfortunately.

My husband saw an advertisement on Facebook for a Valentine dinner special they were running all weekend. My husband has a busy work schedule and we weren't able to go out on Valentine's Day, so we were happy this special was available all weekend. When we called to make reservations, the host didn't seem to know anything about it, then when we were seated we asked if we could order the Valentine special and our server had to go ask someone because she didn't know about it either. When she asked about it, she came back with menus that had the offer. We couldn't believe they weren't trying to advertise it more. We got one appetizer, two entrees, and one dessert for $30. You could also add two drinks for an extra $15, which we did. The amount of food we got was great for the price and we couldn't believe that more people didn't know about this great deal. The food was really tasty, also. The service was great and efficient. We made reservations since we went on a Saturday night, but it wasn't busy at allIf they have this deal again next year for Valentine's Day, we will definitely be back. Update: We met up with some friends for happy hour on a Monday afternoon. They have some great deals, such as $5 apps, $5 cocktails, and half off beer and wine. We were amazed at the amount of food we got for the $5 apps. The sliders seemed a bit dry and the pickles were kind of cold, though. We were glad we tried out their happy hour specials.

I saw an ad on Facebook for a valentines weekend dinner for two. It was a good deal and we like BW's. The only problem was that no one on the phone or in person seemed to know much about the special or that it wasn't just on Valentine's Day but all weekend. Other than that the food and service was great! We will definitely go back and look forward to trying the happy hour and maybe some more dinner specials in the future.

Cool place. Good food, good drinks, decent prices. Service was friendly but kinda slow. Overall will be happy to come back.

Went into Big Whiskey tonight for dinner with no wait to be seated. The restaurant was fairly empty but service was still slow. After being in the restaurant just under an hour (only had received drinks), the waitress came by and said that the kitchen was backed up so our food would still be a while. We asked her to check and see how long because we'd already waited for a long time. After an additional ten minutes, my husband got her attention and asked for an update. She said they weren't sure exactly but likely another 20 minutes. We offered to pay for our drinks and left. Horrible experience. Over an hour wasted. Won't go back. It's really unfortunate though because this restaurant is in a great location and has a beautiful building. Wish the service and food complimented those assets..

I was in Kansas City this past weekend and went out for a drink or two. We found this pLace cLose to our hoTel and decided to give it a try. The place is very nice inside and they had great music playing on thee it sound system, a nice mix of 80's classic rock and some southern country. Our server was not very attentive to my party of 4. Seeing that there were only 3 groups in the bar all evening I found it pretty disappointing. That was the only issue we had there. The drinks were good and the appetizers we ordered were very good, especially the buffalo chicken wontons. I highly recommend them. The owner was there and very engaging with us. He had just taken over the place so I expect it to only get better there. When in the KC area I would recommend Big Whiskey!

Best part of our experience was our server, Ali (not sure if I’m spelling correctly). Great attitude and service, corrected an issue with our order promptly and quickly. Food was great, drinks were great. Highly recommend!

There was a wait for a table, but immediate seating in the bar. The staff in the bar were extremely attentive and friendly. Food was tasty.

Big Whiskey is an awesome atmosphere. The new GM, John, is super nice, fun to talk to, and seems to really care about his store and the customers in it. Wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and beer selections. Food is fantastic, I havent had a meal there I didnt like.

The service was great. We got there around lunch time so they weren't busy at all. Our server continuously checked up on us (since we spent quite a bit of time talking lol). The buffalo dip was pretty good, not spicy but just a tad too salty. The tostadas were perfect, I love my chips crunchy but a soft crunch. The Hawaiian chicken was really good. It was juicy and flavor packed. I really liked the pineapple salsa that it was topped with, it gave it some sweetness. The mashed potatoes were good as well, creamy and buttery. The green beans were my least favorite. They were cooked good with a slight crunch left in them but didn't have much seasoning. I definitely added salt, pepper, and just a tad bit of hot sauce.

I've ordered delivery here a few times. The loaded steak sirloin is really good. Sides are pretty solid. I've also tried the pretzels and frequently order the garlic parmesan chicken which I think is really tasty. Steak Mac and cheese was really good but is a special. Pecan pie has a whiskey taste and is very unique and good. I personally wasn't a fan of the steak wedge salad or the chicken ranch alfredo. Chicken parmesan was okay but I didn't like the pasta much. Overall, stick to the steaks and chicken. Sides are all good. Dessert is good. Pretty solid place.
