The quiche was delicious along with the variety of baked goods I got. Friendly and smiling staff, very good experience.

Love this place but the drive thru is super slow - anytime I go. This makes me go elsewhere unfortunately because I cannot be waiting in line for 15-20 mins. I’ve gone here many many times and EVERY time I’m stuck waiting for a single latte. Maybe make the drive thru only available for drinks and pastries? Not sure what the answer is but I now don’t even bother coming here because of the time it takes and the parking lot is also terrible and always filled

Best cinnamon rolls EVER. Friendly staff, quick service, Earth friendly.
It was pretty busy but fine for a small group. They seem to struggle with calling out a name that they can't pronounce so instead choose to let you wait and walk up once you notice your name has not been called.Otherwise, your basic coffee shop.

$12 salad and this is what was in the box when I opened it. Extremely small. Can’t even call it a salad.

Ugh. What a joke. We have had McLains pastries brought to us at work by vendors and they were amazing (Shawnee). So, suggested brunch to a friend (Overland Park). Parking was an utter nightmare and the 2 girls at the coffee bar were rude as can be and treated me like an idiot when I had questions (sorry, gals first time in your restaurant). One of the coffee girls yells your name like a bleating cow giving birth. Acoustics r horrible, don't sit next to trash can/ bussing station.....people throw their plates in the bins, sounds like dishes breaking. Cupcakes were uber dry, icing was cracked from them staying in a refrigerated case. Croissant had no taste to it and eggs were swimming in butter, no salt and browned (scrambled eggs r supposed to b yellow, not brown). Best part was my friend's company and my black coffee (pretty hard to screw that up). Prices r too high for the quality of food that u get. However, the entertainment of snooty people all around is free. Don't know what all the fuss is about McLains, I would have been happier going across the street to QuikTrip. One and done, McLains - I'm out, never again.
Nice bakery area, desserts taste great and were fresh. The only downside is that prices are pretty high for items. $5/cupcake is a bit steep.

McLain’s bakery is always consistent!!! I have a friend who loves cinnamon rolls. I tried and failed miserably! That is when you whip out your magic wand!… your phone. Ordered the rolls and picked up more taste bud vices. They are one of the few, best spots/go to in Leawood Kansas!!!
