Loved that it wasn't very busy but the bartender ignored you if you weren't one of the regulars it seemed.

Bartender was a bit slow on service but was overall a nice gal and sociable. Some of the other patrons were questionable and off putting.

We booked The Red Room on a weeknight for our company's holiday party and we all had an absolute blast! The GM, Tom, was a great help in getting things planned and set up prior to the event. The staff that worked our event were super attentive, friendly and made sure we had a great time! I loved the atmosphere and decor of The Red Room - very funky, retro, dive-bar vibes. ?

It’s hard to imagine a more perfect local bar. Let me start with some backstory…My wife and I moved on a whim from the taint of America (Florida, for the unitiated) to Overland Park, KS. Too many people conjure the Wizard of Oz when we talk about our move, but I will agree that I understand Dorothy’s sentiment of there being “no place like home”. Either way, two weeks post move, Kansas hasn’t immediately felt like “home”.Then we went to The Red Room.We sat at the bar, soaking in as much of the ambience of Chiefs fandom and 90s music. Stephanie, the amazing bartender, greeted us with a genuine desire for us to feel welcome. We got to chat about all things local, and shared few stories (and shots) together and I’m fairly sure we ended the night at BFFLs.If I haven’t mentioned it, I’m old. Like 80s old. And closing down bars past 2am is usually not my thing. So it’s few and far between that I feel comfortable enough to indulge like I did at the Red Room. To feel like a regular the first time i show up is a testament to the people who are running the show. Hats off to the whole staff! So three months later, we finally show up again. Stefanie remembers us and we reminisce on that random day we found a home in Kansas. I am grateful for the Red Room, for Stephanie, and for our new home.Midwest is best. There is truly no place like it.

Worst service I have ever receive. The orange on my blue moon was already used I'm pretty sure. The music was extremely loud I couldn't hear someone sitting next to me. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I've never had an issue at this location for any party's. We have had multiple interactions with lots of people here and have been here for over 3 years. The young lady that was bartendering called the guy's sister a b**** and she responded for upset then they had words with the bartender. The bartender claimed she apologized to the brother for yelling at him and callinh him a creep but never did apologize to woman she called a b****.. Unfortunately, Steve and Tommy came over and wanted to have the offended parties removed. The entire bar witnessed this. I'm not sure when it became acceptable to call customers out of their names. How do you not expect people to respond? The bar will probably respond and state it was simple misunderstanding by Steve and Tommy. I completely understand standing behind your employees. However when an employee is in the wrong, we should treat the customer as a consumer. I happened to be sitting at the bar and this is when I got involved and tried to explain that it was extremely disrespectful to call the bartender out of her name as well as assume. That there was no apology.. Bartenders under the influence will always turn out bad. If customer service is not important to them, neither is out patronage. Will definitely be canceling the transactions for all the drinks that were left behind due to the situation. If the bar wants to share the video, this will confirm everything described. DJ was great by the way.

I ionly had like 2 beers and I requested to play a song with the DJ. The bartender cut me off for no reason I couldn't even get a third beer!!!! This place is not a good place to relax and drink.
