This hibachi restaurant wasn’t that great. The service was slow.I thought the food portions were delicious but small compared to other Japanese hibachi restaurants I’ve been to. I was still a little hungry when I finished my food. The restaurant was pretty full but the wait wasn’t too long. The location wasn’t in a nice area. The food was $5 overpriced in my opinion.I don’t care to ever come back to this place.I didn’t expect Kansas City to have many great Japanese hibachi options.

We celebrated my mom’s birthday here on 3/8/24. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating, but shout out to Rani for her amazing attention to our group and Victor for preparing wonderful food. Portions were huge and all the meats were cooked perfectly. I will be back again - thanks for making my mom’s night extra special!

We had a great experience for my mom's birthday. Rani was our server and Victor was our chef. Both were super attentive. The food was amazing - huge portions but so much flavor I didn't even need or want to add any extra sauce to my meal. I was very impressed!

This is one of my favorite restaurants to visit. Their food is exceptional and the dine in experience is second to none.

Cook the food in front of you. We had steak, Mahi Mahi and Vegetables. Served with soup and salad. Salad was old and wilted. Everything else was decent.

My son touched the Golden cat on the bar ONE TIME, and the bartender rudely tells my son to not touch it and takes the waving arm away. A few minutes later the bartender puts the arm back and makes the effort to come on thr other side of the bar to hover of my son and say "Do not touch mu cat" very aggressively." Mind you, my husband is standing right by my son; the bartender could've just spoken to my husband like an adult to address his concern.Yes, you better believe my husband said something. In addition, after our wait (which was 30 mins longer than our reserved time), we went to our hibachi table where they tried to squeeze 4 adults and 2 kids across half a row of the table. In total there were 12 adults and 2 highchairs. We were ALL squeezed into a section that would've been obviously uncomfortable to eat. My family and I decided to leave to so could give more room to the additional parties at the hibachi table.Advice: Don't just try to squeeze whoever you can and commit to reservation times for the money. Provide customer service that will create longtime loyal customers.

We have been here many times and have usually experienced slow service, which we understood since after Covid restaurants are having staff issues. We overlooked the poor service because we love the food and the chef's cooking are very personable, except for last night, Valentines day. We had reservations and surely everyone knew it would be busy. We had the rudest chef at our table, never smiled, no presentation, but the worst was when someone asked for sauce, he just looked at them then basically threw out the little trays to everyone and slopped one sauce in to them. A couple of people were eating sushi and asked for soy sauce, they were not given a bowl to pour it into, when they asked the chef again just through them a bowl. The worst experience ever. Not sure now if we will be back. Sad.

Had a great multi-birthday hibachi dinner. Food was good and our server, Rainey, was lovely. Thanks!

Our server was 100% on drugs. Red haired girl, shaking, nervous and twitching. When I ordered anything it was a really big deal if I asked for a modification (or a hey does this have dairy). Refills were a big deal. Her clearing empty plates was a big deal. So much so that my son’s tenth birthday dinnner was made more about not upsetting the Apple cart. I made a reservation and me tokens his birthday when we arrived and no one did anything.
