Donât judge a book by its cover. Weâve been here three times in the past two weeks and weâll be back. Our new favorite place for some pho and wonton soup!!

Happy Family is the best chinese joint in town, hands down. The lovely couple who run the shop work their butts off making sure everything is clean, cooking food, answering phone calls, serving tables, and above all they are super polite. The NICEST people ever.
The food is spectacular and theres several options on the menu, there is surely something on the menu that you will like. I am always trying something new when I go in and so far have not found a dish that I disliked!
They are accurate with carry-out time frames and the food is always HOT. So much to the point where I need to let it sit and cool after getting home! You'll never have cold take out.

If youâre looking for fancy plates and white-glove service, this isnât the place for you. Donât expect your feet to be kissed.
But if you want authentic, homestyle Asian cooking and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, youâll feel right at home. The owner is friendly and makes you feel like youâre stepping into your
uncles kitchen. The subtle aroma of incense numbs your nose, and the food bursts with bold, comforting flavors. One of my favorite stops whenever Iâm in Pittsburg. Five stars for Happy House.
This is absolutely the freshest best smelling food in town!
My son is attending Pitt State, and loves this place. Owner is very personable and makes him feel at home when he's there. I love that!
If you are second guessing this place, it's worth every penny! Great food, service was friendly and the food is made to order!

Food was a bit sweet
I called in an order for my wife, who works in the area to pick up on the way home. I never expect much out of a Chinese restaurant initially, but man, let me tell you these folks delivered ALL the way across the board. The shrimp and chicken fried rice were phenomenal. The crab Rangoon were fantastic, flavorful, and filling, and they have THE best egg roll I'd ever had.
I spoke with the owners on the phone to place my order, they were super kind and accommodating. I would recommend this place to any and everyone!
Iâve been going for years and have never written a review for this place, guess today is the second best day too. Let me tell you, this place - you will never be able to taste most, if any other, Chinese/Vietnamese cuisine places the same again. First of all, youâre getting the real deal, Happy (Who is a wonderful cook and woman.) knows whatâs sheâs cooking and how to do it right. When your food is done. ITS DONE. And youâll get it straight from kitchen to table. What youâll be getting is an authentic home-made dish. Youâre basically having dinner at grandmaâs if Happy was your Grandma. Then thereâs Hank, the sweetest, friendliest, and most sociable person Iâve met. He helps cook and such for sure, but when he starts talking to you, youâll be enjoying a conversation for a good minute or two and heâll make sure youâre experience is as good as the food. Donât let the place fool you on looks, you might think a place needs to look fancy or such to be good, but that is far from true. What youâre seeing is a local couple dedicated to their business and food, who are giving you the real deal compared to places like Panda Express or Lotus, which I can barely enjoy anymore, because of Hank and Happy. Like Iâve said, when I walk in there and the first thing I hear is âHey Buddy! Long time, no see!â Iâm ready to spend my time and money there, and catch up with them on life. I donât think they ever really know my name, but Iâm happy to just be known as âBuddyâ. 10/10 would recommend, and I refuse to accept thereâs any other better Chinese/Vietnamese alternatives in the SEK area.
Fresh, home made food đđ very nice owners
Pho was ok. Crab Rangoon were so good. But very disappointed with the atmosphere. It was very crowded with household items and seemed sketchy
