There was a drive up A&W by my grandparents' house growing up, and I remember sitting in the car drinking root beer floats. I hadn't seen one in years, so when I was stuck in Russell for the weekend, we stopped by. Burger was good, and root beer was great! Not in a glass mug like back in the day but still brought back memories.
First time being here. Staff was friendly service was fast restaurant was clean. Food was hot. Definitely will be back next time we travel

We stopped byTo get a root beer. The young man who waited on us had a cap on with the f -word on it. I told him that wasn’t something he should wear at work. He said it was to cover up his hair. Apparently management is ok with this. Last time we stop there.

I was travelling the usa just fishing and trying some of america's different eateries, when I came across this spot when I had to stop for gas. I had never been to an A & W so why not. Well, I can tell you that to me this was just another burger spot. Got a double cheeseburger meal with a shake. The fries were the best thing served. The burger was a bit small and bland, almost like the patties were defrosted in warm water bath or something. It just had no flavor, even with the condiments. Then the milkshake was extremely watered down. That was the most disappointing thing of all as I do like my milkshakes and this was probably the worst one that I can ever recall having.

My wife had a Papa burger that was huge and an A&W root beer to drink. 5/5Her french fries were just average she said so 3/5.There are not too many old style A&W Restaurants left anymore so we will make it a habit to hit this place when we are near Russell.

It was nice to visit an old school A&W that wasn't in a truck stop. Felt very mom and pop which reminded me of when I was growing up going to the old drive up A&W. Great food and friendly service. We'll definite stop again when we're posing through again. Highly recommend.

Loose door dashgo back to delivery way like before..door dash made a&w a restraunt I use to order from faithfully now I just don't waste my time on ordered food from a&w..I order some where else that don't use door dash. Sry do it dash made ya loose my business alone with my family business..good luck with do it dash..
