It has been a long time since my wife and I have died at the Copper Oven. We used to be regular customers then our favorite waitress was fired. We had always been there early to have breakfast. This was the first time having lunch. The hamburgers and fries were outstanding.

We found this out of this way bakery/restaurant in a small strip off 13th Street on the west side of town. The inside is cute, with an older design. Everything looks clean, open, and warm. The waitress we had was superb!!! She was an impressive add with a great personality! Fun, helpful, sweet, and funny! The food was good, hot, and a huge portion of everything! Ordered the chicken fried steak. It was good. The biscuit was beyond great. (Think i need 10!!!!) The bakery was smaller than expected, but the options available looked amazing! Definitely will come again!!
My favorite hole-in-the-wall place. Every single server is super cool and we've made friends with a couple of them. The food is great, the staff is great, and I visit here very often.

Employees eating behind the counter ruined our experience. We ate at the Copper Oven yesterday. The food was good, and we enjoyed our experience, until we got ready to leave. Before we left, we ordered a few bakery items to go. As we stood and watched them prepare our items, we witnessed several employees take turns eating a piece of pie directly over the cakes and pies they were cutting. There was another employee (possibly the manager) eating behind the counter also. If employees will do that in front of customers, what might they be doing when no one is watching?
