Highly recommend the giant pretzel. Also loved the different take on a cinnamon roll. Breakfast burrito was spectacular as was the chicken and biscuit. Friendly staff and didn't have to wait long to be seated even on a Saturday at 11am. Second time here and I will definitely be back for more.

This place is dead, and it still took over 45 min to get our food. The food was not hot, it was room temp. The orange juice is that cheap store brand one you get at the grocery store.

We have been to Crutch maybe a dozen times for breakfast and we all always got the Belmont, a sweet and spicey breaded chicken breast on a biscuit with home style pickles, bacon, topped with sausage gravy, an egg, and with a side of frys.It is a fantastic meal, the flavors all compliment each other. We went last week, to Quinton's, not realizing it changed ownership and ordered the usual.Everything seemed normal until we cut into the chicken. The breasts were thin and tough to cut. There was more breading than meat. After removing the breading we found that the breasts had been sliced in half so they were only half the thickneess of a normal breast, maybe 1/4 inch thick, not the same as before. They were over cooked probably because they are thinner which made them tough.I asked the waitresses about it and she was surprised and brought out another breast, it was also half thickness and tough. They are trying to save money by giving you half the chicken they used to? If costs are going up they should raise the prices a dollar or two, not ruin the dish by halving the meat.....I'm not sure we will go back unless they fix this, which is too bad because it used to be fantastic and something we looked forward to.....and worth paying a little extra to keep it as it was!Edit, I appreciate the response, I wish the waitress had been informed about it so she could have warned us and suggested something different. The chicken was significantly smaller and chewy, it wasn't a good substitution. I understand you were trying to salvage the situation but it ruined the meal. I'll give it another go and update at that time. Thanks

My recent visit to Crunch & Biscuit was a delight! The moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with friendly smiles and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The restaurant itself was impeccably clean and well-maintained, making for a pleasant dining experience.I started my meal with the Belmont Biscuit and Gravy, opting for the "Reaper" level of heat. While the heat was certainly intense, it slightly overshadowed the other flavors of the dish. If you're not a fan of extreme spice, I recommend choosing the milder option 3/5 for the Reaper heat. The wife and kid ate the Quesadilla with Sausage, and let me tell you, it was a revelation! The flavors were perfectly balanced, the sausage was savory and juicy, and the tortilla was cooked to crispy perfection. This dish was a true 5 out of 5 stars. For drinks, I tried the Sweet Tea and the Virgin Bloody Mary. Both were refreshing and delicious, and the Virgin Bloody Mary was especially unique with its pickled green beans, bacon, pickle juice, and a surprising biscuit on top. It was a fun twist on a classic cocktail! In addition to the excellent food and drinks, the service throughout my visit was outstanding. The staff was attentive, friendly, and always happy to answer any questions I had. They made me feel welcome and comfortable, which greatly enhanced my dining experience.Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Crunch & Biscuit. The restaurant's cleanliness, friendly service, and delicious food make it a must-visit for anyone in the area. I highly recommend the Quesadilla with Sausage and the Virgin Bloody Mary, but be sure to choose a milder spice level for the Belmont Biscuit and Gravy unless you're a true heat seeker!

Really nice employees and the breakfast food was amazing. If you get the batch 7 biscuits and gravy, beware, they do put a lot. The decorations are great and I loved them. I also had the hot chocolate and it was great on the snowy day. So, I would recommend.Kid-friendliness: They had a kids menu and they had a claw machine and some arcade games.

On Saturday's, my wife and I pick a different place to have lunch. We had never to Crutch. The food wasn't to our liking. My wife had the Eggs Benedict. The sauce was to salty and here eggs were not hot. I had "The Hillside". It was "OK". The biscuit has a good flavor and the pickled slaw was good. We decided this place is not for us.
Used to be one of my favorite places to eat, until the buyout and not having BBQ anymore.

I got the Belmont Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich for brunch and it was delicious. Oh, and actually spicy, which I don't run across too often in Kansas. The biscuits surrounding the chicken weren't your typical biscuit, but one that felt, and looked, truly homemade. A nice variety of brunch items and even wider selection of boozy drinks.

The first time I visited this restaurant, BBQ was on the menu and the food was fantastic. Last night's visit for dinner was a big disappointment to everyone in our group. BBQ was off the menu, and the Grandma's Chicken & Biscuits I chose from the very few options offered on the new menu was not good. They have turned this place into one of those choose-your-heat-level chicken joints. Big mistake.

So, the menu sounded enticing but the food was just ok. We ordered the c&b bacon burger, the hillside and the Belmont. My son really enjoyed the burger which had lots of bacon. My wife had the hillside which looked really nice and tasted good but the biscuits are not conducive to eating like a sandwich as it was very crumbly so it turned into a fork and knife meal. I had the Belmont which is a huge pile of biscuit, gravy, bacon hot chicken and an egg. I did order the hot chicken and it was indeed very hot. Overall, the food was good and I would like to go back and try other things. Evidently they do not serve bbq anymore so don’t go there expecting it.
