Family-run and a blast from the past, and it certainly feels like it. The place probably hasn't been seriously updated since at least the 1980s - but that's also part of the charm. The candy assortment continues to surprise me every time I go in there - brittle, buckeyes, etc. The ice cream selection isn't super complicated, but does come with some interesting (very "Midwestern") flavors such as German chocolate cake. Probably hard-pressed to find better ice cream anywhere in the Cincinnati area. Can easily sit out front or walk down the street with your ice cream cone during a pleasant day. Service always pleasant and polite.

If you want to find Bellevue/Covington and Cincinnati's best chocolate look no further. Every kind of chocolate delicacy imaginable. I learned today they founded the Opera Cream delight and it's amazing. Picked up some opera creams and buckeyes for friends coming in from out of town. Highly recommend!
