My family and I are ALWAYS pleased to eat and shop at Behar Cafe! Everything on the menu is good. I favor the çevapi with ajvar sauce and sour cream, though! I have dined in and also taken out through the years. The family who runs the cafe is friendly and now that I think of it -- they've never made a mistake on our order even after several years! Remarkable place, wonderful gem.

This was my first time at this restaurant. The booths are very basic with seating that is too far from the table. The interior lacked style and was sparsely decorated. We ordered the mixed meat plate consisting of different grilled meats. It came with Lupin bread. There was no side salad, olives, or even a pickle. It only came with some chopped onions, sour cream, and some red pepper relish. The meat was well cooked but was quite bland. However, the service was excellent.

Absolutely delicious food and a wonderful little market there also! I got the gyros sandwich and a potato burek. Both were delicious and huge portions! The service was very friendly and willing to teach me anything I wanted to know! 10 out of 10 will go here all the time now!

I don't often write Yelp reviews, but I felt compelled to after the amazing meal I just had at Behar Cafe! I ordered the Gulas ($16) and Kid's Cevapi ($10), along with a blood orange soda ($3). Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and home-cooked, and the husband and wife who run the place are wonderful. If I lived in the area, this would be a spot that I regularly visited. I can't recommend this place enough!
