This quaint little family winery is located along the Kentucky Wine Trail. What makes it different from the others along the trail is it is more of a house. The owners live on the property and are originally from Europe. This is a small, family-owned winery. The atmosphere is quite quaint....once we arrived at the winery. The driveway to the winery unnerved us because it was narrow, curvy and gravelly. We felt more like we were driving to a personal residence rather than a business. Once we arrived at the Winery, we understood the feeling. I love this place! It's a small vineyard and winery and according to them it was the 4th winery in Kentucky. The owners built the place from the ground up and you can really tell it was a labor of love. The owner gave us a history of the farm during our tasting, which was only a few dollars to try them all. The wines were great (my favorite was the Shiraz) and the scenery was fantastic. Definitely a place to just chill..and we will be back!
