We just moved to town and my son found this diner a few days ago svs told my wife and I about how good the food was. We decided to go tonight to check it out. I got the Main Street Burger which was very good. The burger itself was seasoned well and the burger to veggie ratio was spot on. I do wish that there was a little more cheese with the grilled cheese sandwiches, but over all it was a good burger. The fries were a little under done, but not too bad. My wife got the country...
Love main street diner! Every time I go I get wonderful service from smiling faces, fresh food, accurate orders, and high quality tasty food (which is hard to find in Frankfort iykyk). I highly recommend their chef salad with the ranch or the main street burger! Their salads are very large and filling because they give so much meat on it and you can never go wrong with a burger with grilled cheeses as buns!
We have eaten here often. I think over time the food has declined a bit in quality, but it is still good. When it opened, everything was locally sourced, but I did not get that sense this most recent time. The pork chop was fresh. But the gravy seemed a bit stodgy. The biscuits also were different. It also seemed like the eggs were only half turned. Turing and egg on a flat grill Isa practiced art, and half flips are just weird.
