I give this little restaurant a 2 star. The location is nice our waitress and the owner were very nice. The food we had was less than desirable. We even tried the pies neither of which was good. I don't know how they got 4 stars! I take seriously leaving bad reviews..... but if you're looking for tasty well prepared food this isn't your place.

Definatly worth the short detour from HWY 75. Downtown area is beautiful. Girls trip so we all ordered something different and sampled a nice variety. "Kentucky Hot Brown" 1st time trying this unique open faced sandwich and it was delicious. Cat fish with a perfect light breading amazing and a side of steamed Brussel sprouts yum... but leave room for dessert Mom said the coconut pie was best she had ever tried and that's saying a lot because it is her favorite pie. Chocolate/peanut butter pie was delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We were greeted with a smile and seated quickly. Breakfast was delicious. The pork tenderloin was the best we have ever had. The staff was friendly and efficient. The restaurant has made some changes with remodeling and looks amazing. My favorite place for reakfast.

We stopped by for lunchtime and Annie was our server, she was so sweet and made the visit even better than the food! My daughter asked her if we could listen to her favorite music, 80’s rock, and she asked if my daughter could have free ice cream and gave her two scoops of yummy chocolate with sprinkles. The catfish was fantastic with the best tarter sauce I’ve ever had and so was the pie!
Favas is My favorite Downtown Cafe! The owners are beyond talented. A quaint 1910 Cafe had had many faces. But now Favas "You've never looked so good!" Topping the great atmosphere of with good food and precious hospitality.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level.

Service was a amazing. Even the owner was coming around table to table to check to make sure there were no issues. Our waitress was super friendly and our food definitely hit the spot.. but let me say even if you're not terribly hungry and need a snack stop in for a slice of their chocolate pie. It is to die for.
