We recently left Hawaii (military PCS move) and this restaurant gave all the Aloha vibes! The tables were set up super cute and the food was fresh and delicious. Absolutely loved the Hawaiian style fries!

Good portion sizes. Pork katsu was very crisp and flavorful. The Kailua pork sandwich was a little dry and the coleslaw tasted a little to much like ginger for me. The teriyaki chicken plate was a ton of food but we didn't really like the pasta salad most likely just personal preference on the mayonnaise used.

It's a small restaurant with not a lot of seating but that is no big deal compared to the food they are making. I had the loco moco and man was it good. Everything from the eggs to the rice was perfect. And the Mac salad is something I could eat till I'm sick! I live in Louisville but I will be making the drive back to Lexington to eat here again!

The musubi is delicious. It's appropriate for the price but its enough to try for one person. Nice balance of saltiness and sweetness in it
Also got the Mahi Plate. The Blackened Mahi dressed with spicy mayo is nice. Flavorful mahi and seasoned well but a little bit on the more dry side. The sticky rice has a good texture. The macaroni salad is good too. Not too wet. Perfect texture but it needs seasoning. The spicy mayo & eel sauce with the rice. 🥹

Tried this after seeing it on TikTok. Made another visit this afternoon, my son wanted to try the spam musubi challenge. Eat 12 pieces in 20 minutes. He was not successful on this attempt. I just watched and enjoyed my pork katsu and also tried the honey garlic chicken.

Ordered take out, but inside seemed nice and has similar vibes as Bourbon and Toulouse. Food was great, and I’m not that big of a “barbecue person”. For better parking, I recommend the clays mill location.

Drove 3 hours from out of town to a Convention. Decided to stop in before we hit the hotel and was NOT disappointed! The atmosphere was super cool and had a great vibe! The employees were super nice and polite as well.. Then the food… Amazing!! I would definitely recommend to anyone local or passing through! Will definitely be back!
