I wouldn't eat here again. Food was overpriced and place was packed too forever. The slimey mushroom jelly burger I got still gives me nightmares texture was awful. I got food poisoning that night. Subpar for extraordinary price. Eat at gus's chicken instead it's like 1000x better.

Food was great, I had the seafood Linguine, Outstanding. The place was packed for a Monday evening, service could have been a bit better, however overall great mean & good experience.
Sat at the bar, had an appetizer and a steak. Food was delicious. They have an extensive whiskey selection and a phenomenal single barrel espresso martini! I’d highly recommend!

Thank you to Carson's for having vegan options on the menu! My experience at Carson's was amazing and I highly recommend it. I tried the Hawaiian Style Tofu and I was so impressed by the sweet/spicy profile with the crispy tofu texture and vegetables. I will definitely return when I'm in the area.

First visit to Carson's while passing through Lexington. Happy Hour drinks at the bar were A+... Our bar tender was awesome! Spicy Ribs appetizer was also awesome! We split the signature fried chicken dinner with Mac and Cheese. The dinner was lukewarm at best and my spouse didn't say anything until AFTER the meal (which is too late!). Our bad.. the atmosphere, service, drinks, and appetizer was first rate... Don't be afraid to say something up front... Still, would definitely recommend...

Amazing steak and service had the bone in tomahawk was grilled to medium rare perfection with a great crust and presentation was great service was on point. A friend had the sushi and was very impressed will definitely be back when in Lexington.. The establishment has great atmosphere as well as great food.

Found this gem on a road trip. It was on Easter and was quite busy. We did not make a reservation but they found a way to seat us. We had the Grilled Romaine and Ahi Tuna Lettuce Wraps. Both were really good. The best thing though was the dessert Kentucky Derby Pie Bites. It was a generous portion of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream and surrounded by the crispy gooey warm bites. I would go back just for that. There was a sign on the mirror in the bathroom that said “You look beautiful today”. It made me smile.. it was quite noisy and very hard to have a conversation sitting across from my sister. Other than that I highly recommend Carson’s.
