I love this place. I do wish it was slightly larger to accommodate more people! I love all the tacos and the tamales. The prickly pear margarita was out of this world. I had no idea what it would taste like but it was delicious!

I recently visited Corto Lima for lunch, and I really enjoyed it! It's a cheerful Latin-inspired spot, with great food and drinks! The space is really beautiful, it's the perfect spot for a casual lunch. I started with a Prickly Pear Margarita and it was delicious! It was also beautiful. And it tasted as good as it looked.

Do I placed an order for curbside pickup, I even get an email confirmation for my order. I hot to pick it up at the designated time, and they are not even open. What a giant waste of my time and now I still have to find something to eat.

Ok. It's tough to be great handing out carry out during a pandemic but I'll be darned if they didn't pull it off. I pulled up and had my food in less than 5 minutes, the service was excellent, and the food was over the top. Most surprisingly it was still hot when I got home. The "Prime rib pork" was cooked perfectly and beautifully seasoned. Likewise, the rock salt chicken was subtlety full of flavor. The only problem was the lack of ambiance in my dinning room, but guess there's nothing they can do about that. Well done!

I'll be honest, I had very high expectations prior to my first dining experience at Corto Lima. At the time of this writing, it is the highest rated restaurant in Lexington, KY per TripAdvisor. I finally talked my wife into trying it out on a rare date night. We knew to get there early so that we could get a seat. We arrived at 5PM and the place was nearly at capacity already. Once seated, our waitress was pleasant and gave us recommendations, but after that, her checkups were few and far between.

Modern and cool design. Always packed. Very loud. Most dishes are small. Thus you order a couple of them and share. Large bar selection. Fast and nice service.

I've been once, and it was probably my only trip there. The food was really good. Love the authenticity, and the atmosphere. But the prices are very steep for what you get. I don't mind paying a little more for quality, but the portions are tiny for what you're paying. The drinks were good, but very pricey also.

You can order a ton of small plates to share. They have gluten-free marked on their menu, which is helpful.

Great service, great drink choices, and great food. We had drinks and appetizer at the bar and had a wonderful appetizer with wonderful service and drinks. Dinner service was quick pleasant.

The food here is excellent....I mean really, really good. The prices are not. Neither are the portion sizes. I wanted to love this place so much, and if I were judging on the taste of the food alone, I totally would have. But I struggled with the super small portion sizes and big price tags. I was downtown for jury duty and decided to try this for lunch. It is right across the street from the courthouse, so it was super convenient, and it came highly recommended. I sat at the bar and the bartender was very personable and helpful, recommending dishes for me to try and chatting politely with me while I waited for my food. I got the blue corn empanada and the chips and queso. Both were absolutely delicious. I have no complaints about either one. I would easily love to eat both things again. However, the size of the empanada was laughable. It was maybe two bites if that. I wish I would have had more of it to enjoy. The queso was one of my favorite quesos in was amazing. However, the entire meal (including a bottled Diet Coke) cost me almost $20 and I was still hungry when I left. Overall, I love the food. I just wish there was more of it or it cost a little less.

Top 5 favorite restaurant in Lexington. My boyfriend and I have been coming here once a week for the past year and a half. Go-to's for us include the guac, papas en la latta, the tacos, and the margs!

We've been coming to Corto Lima a couple times a month for a little over a year now! I will say this; the quality & experience, you get what you pay for! So for those looking for great food and a great experience in central downtown; The margaritas are very good and strong. The food is always on point. Thing we may get: guacamole, papas en la latta, tacos, salmon dinner. They used to have a great Elote, so they should bring it back!! Tres leches is a good dessert too! Some nights (always Friday & Saturday) they have a wait. So I recommend going to Oscar Diggs for a drink while you wait or simply plan ahead.

Pricey but good food and different from your usual Mexican food . Great margaritas too !

Our group of 6 enjoyed our drinks and all the different appetizers & entree’s. Made with fresh ingredients & carefully presented, this spot was a nice surprise. We will return.
