I love Goodfellas. Sometimes I get lucky and they have a slice left of my favorite. I used to drink a bit tooo much and wander to the Goodfellas downtown for slice. I like the Distillery District location, a classier joint with classic decor.

My family and I are traveling through KY this week for spring break. We arrived in Lexington today and figured it was a pizza night. This NY style pizza looked good in the other Yelp photos. Our 3 yr old and 6 yr old both enjoyed The Boss. And my wife and I did too. It was exactly what we wanted in the textures and flavors of good pizza crust with a crisp and a chew. The chicken, the bacon, the onion and tomato with the cheese and the ranch drizzle were great together. When we came in we learned that we were in line to order and then got a number stand to take to a table we could grab for ourselves. Some brought out our pizza pretty fast. And pizza by the slice combos were all good looking deals. The details in the design of the space are fun and industrial. It would be a fun place to gather on the regular if I lived here. Well done. I would recommend this place and would come back for more. Thanks.
