We went there for our 35th anniversary. This was our second visit to Jack Ruby. everything was top-notch from the service to the food to the ambience to the attention to detail. We will definitely be going again. Highly recommend it!!!

I sat at the bar (solo), Gerardo was great....very engaging, helpful, listened...and he was busy with a full bar (it was Blue Grass Stakes Weekend). And his partner Graham was equally helpful and engaging. I returned a couple of nights later, the whole restaurant was full, Gerardo saw me, told me he would reserve a spot for me. 10 minutes later, I'm seated. Just great customer service...and I saw Gerardo treating everyone this way. I've traveled a lot to many high end restaurants, and I put these guys in my top 5 for service (maybe 3) and the restaurant in my top 7-8. I'll definitely be back when I return to Lexington.

Food great. Service beyond great. Drunk at near table, very loud and vulgar. He damaged a great Anniversary for us. Music too loud for an exclusive restaurant. Valets were beyond great.

We went to Jeff rubys with two friends for our anniversary. Got excellent information and service from waiter and wait staff. Steaks were tender and perfectly cooked. Waiter offered to take picture of us and unknown to us placed picture in a little anniversary holder and presented it to us at end of meal! Asparagus and Brussels sprouts were cooked perfect and tender. Great place for a special occasion

The food was just average. The experience was great. It is perfect for special occasions. I would not go back but glad I had the experience.

Hands down the best meal we've ever had. Our server Gerrick and our server assistant (whose name I do not remember and sincerely apologize for) were absolutely top notch. We were celebrating our anniversary and really appreciated the staff celebrating with us.

Thieves do you have any idea how hard it is to be a server. Clearly not. You?Self serving scumbags should be ashamed. This could get you close down , you know? The restaurant is an eyesore overpriced and underwhelming. If you are in the service industry these people are stealing their service tips. I would expect. We would act accordingly and unite with our brothers and sisters. Boycott this place one hundred percent.

Since we moved out of Kentucky it has been over a year since me and my wife had eaten at this location. We was in Lexington this weekend for a medical conference. (She's a Physician) We made reservations for 4:45 we was being seated at a high top (my wife had recently had a bad gallbladder surgery where she has tube's still connected to her for bile drainage) we asked for a booth and the young lady seating us was able to take care of it very quickly. The waitress we had went above and beyond, she was very knowledgeable of different sauces to pair with A5 Steaks. It was also my wife's birthday week and she mentioned that and the nice waitress took a picture of us and got her a piece of cake with a sparkler in it. Julia enjoyed it very much. We have been to restraunts all through out the Country and I must say the staff at this establishment from the people taking you to your table to your waitress to the guy who kept bringing us water was superior to them all. Might I add the food was excellent. You pay for what you get and you get the best. AGAIN I have to say the waitress we had takes Jeff Ruby's a step above.

This was a 30th wedding anniversary dinner. We had very high expectations of Jeff Ruby's steakhouse. We ordered crab Rangoon roll that was just mediocre. I had the bourbon filet which was actually pretty good, but not amazing for the price. My husband ordered the cowboy steak medium. There was zero seasoning flavor and the outside was charred so bad the steak tasted bitter. Not how you expect a $94 steak to taste. We had the Mac and cheese and once again... mediocre. Service was good but unfortunately that's not why we chose Jeff Ruby's.
