I regret to say that my second stay at Lexington Griffin Gate Marriott Golf Resort & Spa was disappointing. The dirty floors left the bottom of my feet black, and the shower had leftover hair, indicating a lapse in cleaning standards. The room displayed shoddy maintenance repair work. Sadly, I cannot recommend this hotel, and I won't be returning for a third stay.

This place has lost its luster. Have stayed here many times over the years for both professional and personal travel. It's now poorly managed. My first room had no air conditioning. It was late and not too warm, was told there was no ac in the entire hotel. Ok. Next day it was 80 in my room and freezing in the hallway. I asked for a new room to which I was told it would be no better. It was. The ac worked there.

We came here for a convention. The room was so dusty. They allow dogs on this hotel which is great but I am allergic. We obviously had a dog friendly room, which is also fine but it had the dander everywhere. The tub was dirty. Front desk was not friendly. The key locks were 'reset' twice so we had to go to the front desk to get them reprogrammed twice along with 100 other people. The meeting rooms were so hot and stuffy and it was cool outside. The air conditioning was not sufficient in our room. Only one bar of soap per room.I strongly discourage staying here and especially hosting a convention there.

Very comfortable accomodations. Close to town, the Horse Park, and a short drive to the airport. The kids loved the pool, and we loved the breakfast buffet. Cook to order omelets and eggs. Full Spa, golf course and nice grounds if you just want a walk.

Always an amazing stay! Come at least once a year. Nice being a Marriott rewards member and having something so nice to stay in at Lexington!Nearby activities: Close to the highway but easy to reach town.Food & drinks: Restaurant has great food downstairs and the bar is always ready to serve.Noteworthy details: The golf course that sits adjacent to the hotel is a fantastic course.

This hotel used to be incredible but the change to conventions has made it plummet. First time we ordered room service, it took 1 & 1/2 and then we had to cancel it. Second time, we told them we were in a rush and it just never showed up. Not only was that bad, but the air conditioner went out twice within our 4 day stay, and the sink in the bathroom leaks everywhere. The only good thing about this hotel is the baristas at Starbucks. Will not be staying here again

Very BAD Experience. I booked a 2 Queen non-smoking with balcony for my wife and daughter. They received a king, smoking area, no balcony. Literally the exact opposite. Attempted to call for resolution and unfortunately never received any call back. The hotel was also noisy. Had to get a fan from Target to help with the noise. This was during middle of August 2023. Unfortunately, won't be staying there again...

Do NOT stay here on a weekend that they are having a wedding...especially if you stay in rooms 439, 443, 441. You will NOT be able to fall asleep. The music is WAY too loud. You would think they would have a seperate building for events such as this. It is literally right outside my window. On the plus side, the spa was wonderful, Violetta gave me an amazing massage!! She is the only one that deserves 5 stars!

By far the best motel experience for my wife and I. LITERALLY everything you need is located on site. Spa, outdoor and indoor pools, a store, bar/restaurant, live music on select nights, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, conference rooms, and right off the golf course. Highly recommend!Rooms: Very spacious and upgraded rooms. The fridge was a little small, and the freezer portion was completely frozen over, but that didn't affect our stay.Nearby activities: Restaurant/bar adjacent to the lobby, golf course literally steps away, indoor and outdoor pool, walking distance from a gas station/convenience store. Walking distance to an amazing restaurant. Conference rooms, gift store.Safety: Everything about the place seemed very safe/secure.Walkability: Everything was wheel chair friendly (ramps, elevators, rooms)Food & drinks: The food was good. Limited menu for breakfast/lunch, but dinner menu was awesome.Noteworthy details: The staff was super friendly. Kudos to the lovely lady who served our party of 15 on our final night there. She followed along with our banter and made us all laugh. I wish I remember her name, but a big shout out to her for putting up with a bunch of Marines!

I'm not a fan of the "Lime & Picchouli" hand soap being the only option in restrooms. (I have an allergy.) Conference space and lobby are gorgeous. Didn't stay in a room, thought I've heard that ac/heat aren't always working in rooms.

This place is dirty. When I pulled in I thought I was really nice and had a lot of amenities. The tesla chargers are Gen 1 and cracking. There's trash all over the lot by the charger. I can only imagine how well the rooms are kept.

Have stayed at this hotel for years, thru renovation and covid. At one time , this was one of the nicest hotels you could stay at. Since the renovation and an obvious shift to conventions, the personal service and charm is long gone. I booked far in advance, credit card, bonvoy member, and specifically requested a room with a bath tub ( which are few). Upon arrival, the lobby was full, noisy, chatoic, and front desk over welmed. The room I requested, paid for and confirmed was not available, the poor front desk girl got frustated and went to the back and never came out again. It took 45 minutes to get a room and once I did, it has no soap, no extras, was dark and cold. It is very expensive and they are sadly orientated now to corporate conventions and no longer the charm and ambiance of days past. I had to unpack, and than move everything the next day to the type of room I requested, which truly disrupted the entire trip.

My room didn't have AC. Mainly failed to fix it after multiple requests and trips to the front desk. My room was 78° at night. I was staying at the hotel for a conference. The conference was hot and lacked air conditioning. It was not a good stay.

Amazing hotel and amenities. The staff is just as amazing. We had a group and dealt with Whitney she took care of everything for us. Will make it our annual location for the future.

When checking in the clerk on duty ignored my reservation confirmation that was PAID in advance. When she asked "did I want a king-sized bed, or two queen beds" I was a bit thrown off. But when she asked "how many children will be with you", I politely asked that she stick to my reservation confirmation. She the required that I "put a card on file" (reservation paid in advance). And before anyone makes a comment , others in line were not subjected in this way. So, Management needs to send "Consuela" back to cleaning rooms because she doesn't have people skills!
