Max and his buffet will be sorely missed by many as he closes his restaurant this Friday April 8 2022. We have been going for over 30 years. Thanks for the great food and service. Many fond memories were made over the years. Wishing you and your family the best.

I love literally everything about the place! The food is just the best around! I love a good country meal & my favorite greens & hot sauce! The staff is just the greatest & I love Max’s sweet face so much! I haven’t been there in a while but it’s time for a visit! I highly recommend Max’s! It may not be pretty but who cares when the food is better than most grandma’s!

If you know Max then you know that Loudon Square Buffet is a laid back Old fashioned restaurant. When you walk in it's old school, friends sitting down having lunch or dinner. Or you can just call in your order and this was an option way before COVID 19....So if you want some decent food at a cheap price , stop by....

I absolutely love this place,tons of memories and great people. Mostly for local people only after seeing snobby reviews. This place isn't for the rich and stuck up people,it's for people who are humble and caring. The food is great,the owner is wonderful and all the people who work there are so nice. I'm sad to see it shut down.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND eating here at all. The place is run down and smells. The server/cook had cuts on his hands that werent covered nor was he wearing gloves by far the least. Cooks were wearing aprons that seemed to have never been washed. I dont even want to mention the cockroaches we seen near the styrofoam trays running around. They were by the buffett trays i cant say if they been in the food if they were that close by the food. After seeing that we all left. By far the worst place ever.

Would leave 0 stars if I had the option! Food was terrible! Even a few of the trays just had dried crusty stuff lumped in them. No clue what it was. Service was horrible. Didn't even have real plates or forks. What a dump! I asked the guy behind the bar for a bowl and he hands me a styrofoam bowl that was sitting by itself in front of the buffet. It was even dirty. No clue how many people had touched it. The whole place was just dirty! Of your smart you'd stay away!!!!

Foods good. Yea its kinda high school cafeteria, but it's good. Rib sticking. Potato salad is on point. Place is old, needs some tlc. But I guarantee it's cleaner than some people's homes.
