Great spot for a sub, salad, or sandwich. I would take this over any chain sandwich place any day. Can eat in or take out. If in Lexington and your hotel has the restaurant closed a perfect option.

Decent tasting food, would buy again if it wasn’t too expensive. The Reuben was good. I thought the Reuben was not going to be enough, but I did not even finish my french fries. The tender platter was delicious, I would buy it more frequently, if they added, one more tender.

Good food, great service and abundant seating. I think the prices on some items where a little to high, but other than that no complaints.

Great place to eat. Came in looking for pancakes, the gentleman chef was on lunch break when he overheard the disappointment in my man's voice about not having pancakes. He got up to make him 3 awesome tasting pancakes. I have never had a service like that before. Thank you for accommodating us.

Had corned beef. Just OK. I didn’t like the bread very much

Expensive but worth it. Wish they were open late nights like they used to do because their burgers taste like a 5 star restaurant and their fries are so good you can eat them cold and they’ll still have a crunch. i’ve never experienced something like that before. they also do breakfast. definitely recommend waking up just to try it. make sure your schedule is clear for the rest of the day because you will need a nap after one of their breakfast sandwiches, i’m so serious. even if you fight your sleep, you’ll lose.

This little gem in downtown Lexington is located around the corner from the Hilton-Downtown. My friend and I wanted breakfast but the Hilton had stopped serving at 11:00 so she pointed us to this place. When we got there, we discovered only breakfast sandwiches were served all day. We lamented we were hoping for an egg white omelette:(. So the hostess said that since it was a slow, rainy morning, she’d check. And the Owner ( and cook!) fixed us a delicious omelette, tater tots and buttered toast on the side. It was every good as we hoped. It’s that kind of service (and quality!) that will keep us coming back. They run lunch specials and make their own pasta salad, macaroni salad and slaw. It was fried flounder sandwich today. 3 soups to chose from..one being potato-bacon. If I wasn’t pulling a suitcase in the rain, I’d got food to go! 2 full breakfast meals and coffee was $23 (including tax!).

I paid $16 for a chicken breast sandwich meal. That’s the first problem, way too expensive. I got some chicken “chunks”, literally chopped up chicken pieces. I couldn’t take a bite without half the sandwich falling into my lap. The tomato slices - one side of the slice was about 2 inches thick and the other side was super thin. The chicken wasn’t seasoned, had no flavor. And to compensate there was a ridiculously large amount of generic honey mustard. The fries weren’t hot. The coke from the machine tasted watered down. For this price I would expect way more. With the hotel built above it, this place clearly relies on out of towners who don’t want to go too far for food. My recommendation - take some time and walk/drive somewhere else, anywhere else.

Little known gem. Unless you frequent downtown you'd never know. Service is awesome. Food is even better. Got the veggie omelette and coffee. Y'all! It is so good!! Will be back again and again.

I finally got the chance to stop by&have lunch . I've been eyeballing this place for a while now. I was going to stop by last week but they were closed for the holiday . I ordered a cheeseburger with onions rings &a drink. (I think I paid 13.00). There was no one in line so service was quick and efficient. This cheeseburger though... Holy cr*p was it good! It came with lettuce tomato onion and pickles. (The norm for most burgers wherever you go). But the sauce they make and use is sooo good . That's the difference. As for the burger it's not a thin patty nor it did taste like a frozen burger . Im pretty sure they get or make fresh burger patties . The onion rings were really good as well and they were generous with the amount they put in my basket . They were crispy and hot . The store itself was clean and well lit with plenty of tables to sit at . They also have two tables outside as well. I'll definitely be back to try the western omelette.

This is my first time in today, I've lived and walked downtown all my life. Glad I stopped in.

The Western omelet with tots was a winner, and they had Frank's!! $10 for a complete breakfast with OJ is very reasonable these days. The service was fast, and the tables and floor were clean. Totally recommended this place if you're near The Square, especially if you want to support local businesses. They serve breakfast all day.

First time here and the owner is simply amazing. Food was great and everything is made to order so there is a lil wait but not long especially for good food. The staff was also good. A slight misunderstanding in myself and the woman taking my order but the owner made sure that everything was OK and handled the situation with no hesitation. Been back 3 times since then and the service keeps getting better.
