The food was very bland and subpar. Their version of gumbo was a soupy chili. The tomatoe basil soup was salty and really had no basil flavor. The customer service was very lacking. One employee that was working was sitting at a table playing cards with her friends, would get up and go make food, then go back to playing cards. Overall it was a very poor experience and more than likely will not return.

Used to be good but quickly getting worse. My last vist took 30 minutes to get mac and cheese which looked like it had already been eaten from. The salad was suppose to have chicken but it looked like the chicken had been blened into tiny bits barely recognizable, the turkey was only slightly better. The whole salad had an off taste so I skipped it.

The front line is located in the curb-side order register, there is no sign on the front cashier's station to proceed over there. We get over to place our order, and the young lady either didn't speak fluent English, or she was lost. I had to take a paper menu and point to what I wanted to order. We go to get our drinks - there is no ice in the machine, and no lids for our drink cups. We had to ask for them. It was a painful experience. The store WAS NOT busy either. It took nearly 30 minted to get my food, and I still didn't get what I ordered. The food was cool, but okay. I am so disappointed.

Hey Newk's, any chance you can put some tortilla in your next batch of chicken TORTILLA soup?

Politely had me on hold for this long just for a manager to hang up on me. Bad customer service.

Had a terrific pepperoni pizza with a perfectly cooked caulipower crust there today!

This place is great. People are super friendly, the place is always clean, and the food is delicious.

I want a chicken Ceasars and chicken and sausage gumbo. No problems there and the salad was A-1 and the gumbo very tasty as well. It was a stay member- I know all or some of the restaurants are struggling in this day and times so I go in restaurants with my "patient" hat on. The young lady that was there was very pleasant, BUT the supervisor or white guy that was taking the orders was very rude, slaming stuff and very high strung. He may have been frustrated for business reasons but it should not have been shown to the customer. 3 outta 5 just because others may not want to deal with his attitude, I didn't care- today

Clean, friendly, reasonably priced, easy parking. They are maintaining the food quality and choice, a rare thing in American franchise eaterys. Good salads and soups. Will go back again. Bon Appetit.

I ordered Newk's through Doordash today. I was very disappointed about the quality of food. I ordered a shrimp po boy, chicken tortilla soup and strawberry cake. The shrimp was overcooked so my shrimp po boy was inedible. I honestly paid almost $20 for chicken tortilla soup which was just ok. My $5 slice of cake was ok. I completely feel I wasted money. This restaurant is literally down the street and I would rather have anything other than this restaurant.

I eat at this place faithfully. Been eating at this location since 2017 or longer, but the people who work here are straight garbage. The manager with the tattoos is great, but whoever was the male cashier Sunday January 15th messed up my order on my girlfriends birthday (no biggie) but refused to make the order right it was just a big waste of money. I have never had a issue with this place till today I’m very disappointed I’ve spent a lot of money at this establishment. Hands down most the most rude interaction I’ve ever had with any employee at any business ever.

i came to newks hoping to get a nice spicy bbq and steak sandwich with mac and cheese. when i got the mac and cheese it was just noodles with no cheese. also they were slightly undercooked which resulted in a few cold noodles. My sandwich taste amazing, on the other side they only pay employees 10 a hour for making sandwiches they sell for close to 20 dollars a piece.

I went for the grab-n-go for the first time in over two years. Glad the crab soup is a daily. Food and service were fine, it's just kind of far from where i typically go.

Management treats their employees like trash which is a shame because the food use to be good but will no longer support a place that doesn't pay their employees anything and calls them lazy. Not only is that unprofessional Brandon, but it turns guests off.

I would have enjoyed my meal more if not for the fact that the Chicken on my sandwich resembled warm jerky. It was very dry and tough. For the price I paid for lunch with my wife, we could have eaten at a steakhouse for just as tad more. Not worth the cost. Won't be back anytime soon.
