This and the other locations in the area do not accept Subway coupons, or they place specific limitations that are not mentioned in the coupon. Very cheap and tacky of the owner. We will be getting our fast food elsewhere from now on, out of principle.

Let me start out with an indisputable fact: Jimmy John's and Jersey Mike's are better than Subway. The submarine market is saturated and Subway comes in last. Now, that doesn't mean that Subway can't find a way to make it in this environment. But if they are going to, it is going to have to be with lower pricing and incredible customer service. And that ain't happening.Like a lot of you, I hadn't been to Subway in years. Hadn't even thought of the place. But, I received in the mail some Subway coupons that made me think of them again. In the current inflationary nightmare we're in, I was simply willing to accept less of a sandwich if I could save a nickel. So, I gave it a go.I went to four separate Subways in Lexington, including this one, to try and use a coupon. Not one would accept them. In fact, they has signs printed and posted proudly proclaiming that they would refuse to take them. The question that comes to mind is, "Why?" This is a losing proposition for them. We have already established that their submarines are inferior. They won't budge on price even when presented with a national coupon, and there is no service with a smile when you have signs printed which basically say "Go Elsewhere". I did go elsewhere. I found a place that would accept coupons. But the real damage to these shops isn't what happened on this day. The damage comes from the fact that I and others like me won't be going back to try it again. I'm simply not going to waste my time and energy when I've already been turned away. The market is just way too competitive for that (see first paragraph). And yet, I'm dumbfounded trying to answer, "Why?"

I was in charge of ordering for six people and picking up the order late this morning. There were lots of omissions and additions of ingredients on the sandwiches and salads. We ordered salads, sandwiches, chips and cookies. Every single thing in the order was exactly correct. I used the app to order and then picked it up inside the store. The app made it so easy and even though it looked like the lady was there by herself when I arrived, around 10:40 a.m. this morning, it was ready early and perfect right down to the utensils and napkins. I was impressed with the accuracy and her friendliness.
