My daughter & I came here to try it out because we live out of town. Our server was amazing!!! The food was amazing!!! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
Sutton’s catered my daughters wedding this past weekend. Gordon went out of his way to make sure her needs were met. From the beginning of the planning process he was very professional and wanted to make the process easy for her. The staff on site for the reception and cocktail hour were super friendly and hard working. The food was absolutely amazing! Everyone at the wedding loved the food. I can’t thank you and your staff enough for making her day the best ever! I will recommend you all to everyone. Wonderful service, amazing food, and friendly staff!
The food was great but our service was poor. Our waiter forgot to ring in our appetizer, when our food came out and we still had not received it, he said he waited to put it in later so that we could get half off happy hour prices but then charged us full price. Then he brought us our bill while he was on his phone! We paid with a card and waited a good 15 minutes before he returned, still on the phone, bused a couple tables, then came over to us and said "have I already give you your bill?". We get home only to realize our card had been charged twice! We called and spoke to management, they just said we would have our money back in our account Monday. So we went three days with $70 tied up, no apology, and no additional compensation or attempt to make things right. Very disappointed in the service/management.
So been here once, the owner treats the servers like crap. Will never come back, hope he learns to be nice to people. If not hope everyone stays away from that place. I've never seen so much disrespect.
I was very disappointed in the service at this restaurant they brought two meals out and the third one we waited for .We waited so long that we canceled it because the other two people were done with their meal. It took them forever to refill our water glasses. The other two meals should have never been taken to our table if the third one wasn't done that wasn't right. The only good thing about the restaurant was her sauce was good. No discount was offered or anything for us sitting and waiting like that poor service.
This place is wonderful...so many more dishes we wanted to try...all fresh, innovative and lots of hands on by the owner...servers were very attentive and the food was just SO good...Husband had the meatloaf and thoroughly enjoyed it (marinara type sauce on the top) I just can't say enough...give it a try!
I had the most delightful dining experience with my life partner. It had been such an exhausting day. The service and kindness were so much appreciated.Sincerely,Mary Beth
Wish I could actually provide a review of the food and service, however all I can comment on is the soft drinks. My family decided to visit based on catering my wife's corporation received. We arrived, seated promptly and received drinks. A full 35 minutes later.....no sign of our server. No bread, no additional drinks, no dinner order...nothing. Sadly we chose to leave the establishment. What's worse when telling, what I am assuming, was a manger why we were leaving, I got a blank stare. No I'm sorry, no we will check on that, nothing other than a stare and grabbing a clipboard. No remediation tactics what so ever. First time to this establishment since moving here. We will not be back based on the experience, or the lack of accountability from management.
They were very understaffed, but completely on their game. Food was delicious and the staff on hand was attentive and did a great job! Anyone looking for a good restaurant job should highly consider Sutton's. Management was pitching in to help service staff an way they could and no one went without.
A nice, cozy place to grab a consistently great plate of food. We always sneak into the bar area if we can. The bartenders are fun and engaging with customers. The portions are large (especially anything with pasta), items are well cooked and flavorful. We tend to visit when in the mood for a no-fuss environment. Parking is never a hassle, and we can count on the food and service being great.
First let me start off by saying I love this place. I feel like it is a hidden gem off of Richmond road. Every time I eat here I leave thinking that was the best pasta I've ever had. I have tried a few different things but my favorite is the Alfredo with blackened shrimp. My boyfriends favorite is the Fra Diavolo! Both options are fantastic. We love the bread they give you, my only complaint would be that they are stingy on the bread. The price point is a little bit higher than other places, but it is worth it for the quality! Service can be hit or miss, but the food speaks for itself.
Great service! Yes, the food was good, calamari tender and not greasy, spinach salad delicious and seafood pizza was great. But the service was outstanding! Our waitress was so kind and we wanted to sit outside, the only table was in the sun and it was windy, so she let us move as soon as another table cleared. My sister is very picky and can be demanding, but our server was genuinely pleasant and accommodating.
The food is very good. But a spaghetti and meatballs with bread and no salad should cost over $16 dollars..................
Sutton's was amazing! First of all, the bread is to die for! It's the best bread I've had in a long time, not hard and crumbly like many Italian places serve. The serving staff were very nice and attentive. My table ordered three different entrees and each enjoyed what we got.
If you r looking for good food in generous portions at very reasonable prices then this is the spot. Gordon takes great pride in his offerings. The wine selection needs some work. The bread is terrific if u like it thick(I do).No, it's not a romantic getaway but it's great on the pocketbook.PS- help Amanda with tips so she can go to med school
