I have been going here for years. Really liked their food. NOW THUMBS DOWNNNN! I went to just get some bean and cheese on 6/18/21 and the server gave me a TERRIBLE order. The beans were not cooked AT ALL they had NO FLAVOR AT ALL They were just poured from a can in a container with some melted cheese. JUST PLAIN HORRIBLE> I took one bite and throw up. I then know to NEVER EVER go back to this restaurant. I almost seemed like i was being poisoned. I did not call them because they seems to NEVER want to give your money back and try to seems like you are wrong and they are not. Ive experienced this before some where. SO Therefore, DO NOT go to this restaurant you will be sorry.

My girlfriends and I ate there for dinner. Food was delivered fast and hot. Spinach enchilada were delicious. Combination dinner was good. Chimichanga was great. Service was good.

Great authentic Mexican food and it is inexpensive. The sauces are incredible. The Verde sauce is tasty. I got three tacis- lingua, chicharron, and chorizo. Lingua is my fav but both the others were excellent. On second thought, but she turned on may have been my favorite. It was soft/tender, juicy and flavorful! Chorizo was crunchy and spots and had great flavor. It may have been my second favorite or maybe my overall favorite. I just don't know, I guess I'll have to come back again, and again, and again! I was full at the end also.

Wanted to try this restaurant for food and beer. And wow was I happily surprised. Great tacos for 2.00@ and cold beer. My next venue will be to return here for dinner. Somehow I think this food and service will be equally great for dinner.

I went to El Molcajete #1 (as it is known on google maps) in August 2018. It was highly recommended by someone for the great food, even if the restaurant appearance was less than stellar. The cost of the tacos, on the other hand, was great. The cost was either $2 or $2.25 depending on which you ordered. While this is higher than what you would pay at a taqueria in Mexico, it was a pretty good price for a taqueria in the USA. The lengua tacos were great...as well as the bistec. I will state that the bistec was but way too fine, so it they do not get 5 stars. This restaurant also does not get 5 stars because of the appearance of the location.
