Such a beautiful surprise! Amazing food and a modern art installation that was really thought-provoking and beautifully done. I highly recommend Roof on Main!

Every part of our evening was great. The bison burger was the best burger I’ve ever had, perfect amount of juicy and flavorful. The service was also fantastic. Our waiter Jordan was very helpful and made our anniversary dinner and our friends’ engagement memorable.

I enjoyed a banana rumba drink, farm Barr chicken, and charred octopus. Everything exceeded expectations, but the charred octopus was a true standout. Our waiter, Mitchell, was knowledgeable and clearly had passion for his work. Overall this was an exceptional place to go to for a celebratory evening.

Nothing could possibly be said about the quality of the food - other than excellent. The service is beyond wonderful and creates the ambiance that should always go with fine dining. Years ago we had our son's rehearsal dinner before his wedding at Proof. It was a spectacular success. Lighting was perfect. Our centerpieces were cylinder glass vases of different heights with orchids floating on top of the water and lighting from the bottom. Exquisite. Phyllis and Jim

We arrived for our Sunday brunch reservation at 11 AM and were promptly seated. Interesting artwork at every turn. Comfortable seating, low noise level for a full house of clientele, and terrific service. We started with hot coffee and a request for tomato juice, which was fulfilled with Clamato. We had a wonderful pastry appetizer which was a puffed bun served with whipped topping dusted with chopped pistachios and a side of fig jam. Melt in your mouth deliciousness. I ordered the egg, spinach, potato, and cheese dish with a side of a small salad. The egg dish was a bit over cooked and bland. Service was top notch and efficient, which allowed us to enjoy a relaxed brunch and be on our way in time to attend an event at the Kentucky Center for the Arts located just down the block. Would like to return for dinner service at a future time to try other menu offerings and also explore the art displays.

Wow, the food was amazing. Not sure when we will be back k in town, but will definitely want to go back to Proof on Main!

Celebrating a birthday dinner at our go-to spot, a tradition we've upheld for years, was an absolute joy. The service, a cornerstone of this dining experience, remained stellar, and our server Mitchell embodied the essence of attentiveness and helpfulness. It's heartening to see the familiar faces of the retained staff, truly adding warmth to the occasion. Now, let's talk about the food—the star of the show. Each bite resonates with unparalleled flavors, making it a culinary journey worth savoring. As an appetizer, the frondosa mushrooms steal the spotlight, a savory delight that leaves a lasting impression. And to accompany your main course, don't miss out on the skillet cornbread—a refreshing take on a classic side that elevates the entire dining experience to a new level of indulgence. The restaurant's ambiance, as always, was nothing short of stunning. The attached art gallery, a hidden gem, serves as a delightful way to pass time before or after your meal, a tradition we've gladly embraced on numerous occasions. In a nutshell, this place holds a special place in our hearts. It's not just a restaurant; it's an experience woven with excellent service, delectable food, and an atmosphere that feels like coming home. Cheers to tradition and cheers to a dining spot that consistently delivers beyond expectations.

Off the brunch menu, the COULOTTE STEAK & FRITES meal was Delicious!!! 10 out of 10. Packed with flavor loved it. Highly recommend. The FRUIT & GRANOLA was the best granola ever tasted anywhere. The PROOF BREAKFAST SANDWICH bun was too dry lacked flavor difficult to eat wouldn’t order that again but the hash brown was good.Loved the atmosphere of the restaurant and the bar in the next room along with the 21-c art museum makes for a great day out. The staff was all terrific and friendly.

The Old Fashioned was outstanding. The charred broccolini toast was orgasmic, and the Berkshire pork chop was super solid. The service was excellent as well. I would go again for sure!
