Went to this Restaurant to have lunch. Employees were friendly and nice to all the customers as I looked around the room. Our waitress was really nice and absolutely made sure our orders were perfect and that we had no problem with the look or taste of the food. The Restaurant was clean and tidy and I also noticed that the grill cook made sure to keep his hands clean at all times while preparing the food orders. Would highly recommend this Restaurant to others who might want a burger or a great tasting breakfast.

Unfortunately the Steak ‘n Shake has clocked for awhile and is going through a remodel. These guys have a great selection of burgers and just tons of other stuff. They also have very courteous waitresses. Really nothing to say bad about anything.

My chili 5 way wasn't supposed to have onions. ... waited over 15 minutes in the drive through, and had to pick off the onions...

Horrible service ordered online at 9:23 Got there at 9:40 2 minutes after my order was supposed to be ready, waited 10 minutes for them to cash out one order. Not sure why, cashier was at the register, guy was standing there with money in his hand. We ordered 3 milk shakes, they were not made yet. I ordered online because I hate to wait. At 10 was told they were working on them. At 10:10 I got my 3 milk shakes and left. You read that right it took me 47 minutes to get 3 milk shakes, 30 minutes after I got to the restaurant. I could have literally walked to a grocery store a mile from my home, bought the ingredients, walked back home and made them faster than that. All that said they tasted good but my sick daughter fell asleep before she got to enjoy hers.

Worst experience we've ever had. Although the place was crowded there was no excuse for the lack of service we experienced. Ordered 2 sweet tea that didn't show up until we were almost done with our dinner. Ordered 5 shakes to take home for after our meal. Instead we got them before the meal, so they were melted before we left. Condiments on the table were empty. Asked for move only to be ignored. Had to go find some that had condiments in them. Bad end to what had started out to be a great family outing!

Stopped in drive-thru after a movie. Kids got chicken strips, they only only had 2 in the container. Told them and they had to drop more. So, basically they knew and didn't want to make more. We also paid for cheese cups and had to ask twice for those. Just lazy and careless, service at places is just going down hill! Waited about 10 minutes for 1 strip, yes really. Oh and they had serious attitude. The wait is always long, doubt we will be back.

I usually love eating at Steak and Shake but after two visits within 4 nights between 9:15 and 9:30, this isn't the location to go to at night. Both orders had the burger made incorrectly, no napkins, no ketchup, cold fries, forgot cookie on one order and slaw on the other. Had to ask for forks both times. No receipt even though I asked. At lunchtime this has never happened and it's always good.

The food was delicious as always but unfortunately and I know on a Saturday night and they are busy but we waited almost 40 minutes to get our order and that was only after asking over and over where's our food.

Worst steak and shake in the entire city. Would give no stars if I could. Took about 20-25 min sitting at the driver thru window waiting on food. Save your money and go elsewhere. The people who work here were definitely not given background checks.

I am usually not one to complain on the internet for the sake of complaining, but my last experience was not what I had expected. I have been to this location several times in the past few years, but I visited the drive through last week and they were incorrectly filling orders left and right. The car in front of us didn't get half of the food they paid for, and our milkshake was made incorrectly. They gave us a vanilla Oreo shake instead of mint Oreo, which isn't too far off and not a big deal in my book, but I would like to see more out of Steak 'n Shake. Not sure if I will be returning.

This establishment has made me wary of ever returning to another steak and shake. After traveling all day we got off our plane and wanted a quick meal before we got to our final destination. Enter steak and shake. We roll up to the window and start to input our order. The woman taking the order seemed to only be half listening, when we asked her if we could replace the drink in a combo with a shake she interrupted to ask if we wanted a combo several times. She read our order back to us wrong three times before getting it right and then when we got our food it was the wrong order on the receipt. But that's not even the worse part. For some back ground here was our order: Two chicken salads, one with a large diet Coke and one with a large regular coke. A single burger with only bacon and cheese with a chocolate shake. A number 6 with a chocolate shake. We roll up to the window and receive our chocolate shakes pretty fast, and then nothing, eventually about 15 minutes later a woman asked us what we were waiting on, we replied our entire order and she rolled her eyes and left. We wait 10 more minutes with no one attending us so we honk and a younger girl comes up flustered and gives us two more shakes then shoves food that has been waiting at the window since we got there in our car. We take it and start to leave but realized they didn't include our cokes. I walk in to get our cokes and complain to the manager and there is the first girl who rolled her eyes at us sitting at the counter eating with her headset still on! Taking orders! And she rolled her eyes again! Once we got back home our order was wrong, no number six or single burger but three double burgers. Buyers and frequent flyer beware. The way this place is run defies all logic and will make you feel like you are in an episode of the twilight zone.
