This has been one of my favorite places to pick up a quick lunch or dinner. However the last two times I have been to this location no one behind the counter was masked which was disappointing. The portion sizes also appear to be getting smaller, today the mixed green base in my bowl was almost nonexistent. Love the food but I will think twice before I go again.

Gyro meat is good, the sponicopita is great! I love that they have kalamata olives too! Being from Chicago, I'd pay about 7 to 9 bucks for the portion I get for 17 bucks here. Overall I enjoy the food! So 5 stars for the food and 3 stars for price.

I am a major fan of Greek and Mediterranean food so the Build Your Own concept applied to this cuisine is pretty much a dream come true for me. You order at the counter and they make it as you go similar to Subway or Chipotle but with falafel and chickpeas instead of beans and rice. You can build a bowl or pita- we went with bowls. Choose your protein and toppings- I started with a base of spring mix and lentils with falafel and A LOT of toppings. I love cucumber, tomatoes, pickled onions, etc. I topped my bowl off with spicy hummus and tzatziki. We took it to go but you can eat in and there are a few tables outside. The most refreshing thing about the visit was our interaction with the staff. We walked in and probably looked like a lost puppies because the young lady at the counter immediately said, "hey, have you been here before? Let me help you." She was great. Next, the guy at the register ahead of us kept having trouble with his Groupon and the young man checking him out was so patient. Then, he apologized to us for our wait. You just don't see this lately, especially with teenagers. Kudos to them!

The Simple Greek has quickly become my husband and I's go to for a quick bite. Their spinach pie, dolmades, lentils and garlic green beans are some of our must haves every time. The staff is always friendly and happy to go the extra mile! Don't sleep on The Simple Greek!

My absolute go to quick, delicious and cheap Greek place.It’s truly the chipotle of Mediterranean food and they do it wonderfully. All their toppings and sauces go great together to make hundreds of different amazing combinations.The dolmas are incredible as well are their falafels.If you’re craving Mediterranean this will satisfy your cravings.
2 days ago my daughter ordered a falafel bowl… not a single piece of falafel in it. Simple Greek refused to offer us a refund or even a future discount because they were getting ready to close. Customer service and getting orders correct are apparently not a priority.

There is a lot that Simple Greek does that I enjoy! From building a healthy pita bowl or pita, all the way to their sides - I'm a fan. Normally, falafel is my go to meat and this is the first Mediterranean restaurant that hasn't offered it. What they offer (lentils), I'm allergic to. So, falafel would be another good vegetarian/vegan option to be offered. The spanakopita, dolmas and baklava are clean simple delicious. What I wasn't a fan of, the pickled beets tasted like water and the gyro meat is really dry. I understand it's a drier meat but I've certainly had non tough and dry gyro. They are new and probably working out the kinks. All over, I'm a fan.

I wanted so badly to like this place! I gave the place 2 stars because the baklava was decent. My main meal included lentils, red onion, 'falafel', potatoes, and roasted red peppers with a side of garlic cream sauce. Everything in that bowl was stale and room temp with the exception of the peppers. The falafel was SO dry and unappealing. It tasted like it had been sitting out for days and they weren't balls but more bell shapes, which I found off. Also, we picked up the baklava cheesecake and the top was marked that it was made a day in the future! We got it on the 8th and the top said it was made on the 9th!! I'm sorry to say I will steer clear of this place in the future.
