I was introduced to Gibson's some time ago by my fiance and I was greatly impressed. They are, in my opinion, more of a high end yet casual place to dine. Prices can be a little high on some menu items, but when you serve food as well prepared as they do then the price of those particular menu items is definitely justified. My favorite item is the chicken parmesan.

Seemed like a nice place. Good staff , nice setting. Prices weren't too bad. ... however, when you pay $30-$45 for a steak. It should be well above the quality of a $15 Applebee's steak. And if should be cooked as ordered. I understand it's not a $80 + steak but when you order medium rare and it comes out black/gray throughout, it's waaay overcooked. Would have sent it back but was there for lunch and didn't have time to deal with it. Wasn't horrible, but wasn't worth the extra distance or cost. Hope to try again.

Now to date… This is the best eatery I’ve had in Midway. I don’t want to make this super long but the food he deserves my gratitude.First off, the young ladies who took care of me upon my arrival, were nice and kind. Already starting off good. I was quickly seated, not hurriedly and given ample time to review the menu. So many selections that made my mouth water just by reading the description. After some time, I asked the young lady for her suggestions and she happily gave me the rundown.For starters I ordered the shrimp cocktail. It came to me as soon as she walked away. I think they can read minds.. After being placed in front of me, I saw a wonderful display of little seahorses dancing around the plate. The taste was phenomenal. So fresh as if they were caught minutes ago. The flavor was mild and quite tasty.After devouring the little bites of heaven, I ordered the main course…. Seafood pasta. I was also informed that it came with a salad. So I opted for the Caesar. And what a great choice that was? Whoever came up with the idea to add bacon along with the croutons and banana peppers, is pure genius. So much flavor and the right combo.At last, it was time for the pasta and as expected, it was scrumptious. The pasta contains shrimp, crawfish, and sausage. Topped with a Cajun cream sauce and veggies. Can someone say palate pleaser? Yes, yes, yes.Also might I add the sweet tea was great. Not overly sweet like that McDonald’s junk. But I digress.Overall this was a stellar experience and I can’t wait to return to the grail of food awesomeness.

Apparently they don't have quality standards for delivery. My food was burnt, but the cook staff went ahead and sent it. Luckily the manager did refund my money. So I am thankful for that.

Be careful walking in as there is a small step In the doorway that you can easily trip on both coming in and going out.They still show their Italian dishes on their website. However none of them are still being served.

We are the only table in the restaurant nobody else they overcooked my mate. How do I another fifteen minutes just to get it cooked

Great atmosphere, service was sub par for the menu. My Ribeye steak was ordered medium rare, and I received it medium to medium well, a waste of good beef. Macaroni and cheese was uneventful. Since I am visiting, I probably won’t be back for a few months. We were on a company dinner. Good luck.

This establishment deserves way more credit than some of the reviews read. Visited for a late night dinner around 9pm, food wasn't rushed in order to close the kitchen. Our waitress Annabelle was very attentive and friendly. Would recommend!
