This is a high -end restaurant. Sitting along the waterfront on the Ohio River, in Newport KY. With a river view. In door & Out- door seating in the warmer weather. I take my family here on Birthday's. The food and service is fantastic. It's very expensive, food and service is worth every penny. Dan was our server,the last two times we were there. I highly recommend the two lobster tails with mixed vegetables with a side of asparagus. And the king crab legs. My wife had a filet mignon and it melted in your mouth. Sorry I did take pictures of the food. I will next time is awesome. It comes and we eat lol. Pictures are from my mom's dad and sister's Birthday's. My mom's was 2023 Dec 31st new Year Eve. They only served off a special menu that night. We couldn't get king crab legs. FYI

Server was very nice and attentive. Beautiful view of the river. The kimchi calamari was ok but there was not actual kimchi in the dish. The steak was good, the salmon was good. Salad was ok and lava cake was ok. Overall we gave the food a 6 out of 10, the drinks 5 out of 10 and service was 9 out of 10. Honestly the service was the only thing that was considered fine dining. Most likely will not go back. Just not that great

Was our anniversary and the place was clean and attentive. The bartender made the best drinks and Oliver, our waiter, was very nice and made the evening extremely special. We had the Alaskan Black Cod and Snapper Hemingway and oysters and all were done to perfection. Will definitely go back.

Food came out lukewarm by and large. Steaks and sauces were extremely bland. We were visiting the area for a sports tournament...would not go back...the cost did not meet with the quality of the food. Service was great however.

During my family’s meal we ordered from our menu choices. The prime rib undercooked, chicken totally over cooked, hard to get refills when there were professional servers provided. Maybe a date night dinner would be better but a family putting if more than 12 not good. I hope others have a Breyer experience than my family and I did.

However, it took over 30 minutes to get our entrees even though we were there when the restaurant opened and there weren't that many people at the bar and no one in the dining room. It also took 30+ minutes to get a dessert coffee - Outrageous! The music got louder as more people came in - Result - people talked louder and louder and it became bedlum. And, the website says that there's a salad bar -- no there isn't. I have dined at the Chart House many times but this is the first time that I checked 'no' that I wouldn't recommend it to a friend.

We went back for a 2nd visit to celebrate my boyfriends birthday. Everything was wonderful, with one exception. The Alaskan King Crab Legs were not fresh. I went back specifically for them!! I sent them back. 2nd order still wasn't fresh, although they were flavorful. I do recommend this place. Ask for Jeremy!
Always great food, service and the view. This particular evening the restaurant was somewhat noisy, but tolerable. Mr. Reid McCallister, the Manager on Duty, was most helpful in answering a question concerning the points in my account. We have been to this Chart House many times for both personal and business reasons and we certainly will return again.
We had a very experience at Chart House for my Husbands 60th Birthday!! I had the Pomegranate Martini and the macadamia Nut mahi-mahi and it was delicious. The atmosphere and view of the River was beautiful. We will be back as we bought a gift card to all the restaurant's in this group. We will be back, as we love the CH happy hour too.

Beyond incredible! The food was absolutely fabulous! The service was equally outstanding! My wife and I celebrated our 35th anniversary and they knew that. They had special menus printed up for us as well as a shareable dessert after our meal. I highly recommend if you're in the area, make a reservation and have yourself one of the best meals you'll have the pleasure of experiencing. Outstanding!
We went here for a date night. The door greater was friendly and danced to the overhead music. We were seated in a nice spot, with of course a view. Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating with our drink and starters. Then I started to feel sick. The waitress checked on me often and asked if I needed assistance with low sugar. We instead asked if we could get our meal to go. We unfortunately didn't get to eat our dinner in this wonderful place, but the hospitality and accommodations for us were amazing. The dinner was still amazing later as takeout and leftovers once I was feeling better. I highly recommend this restaurant.
