Went with my partner, first time for both of us and we had a great time! I believe it was the owner or manager that came and checked on us and even talked to us for a little bit, just shows they care for their customers and their experience. The food was fantastic and priced well, we'll definitely be coming back soon. 10/10!

I’m not sure if I caught them on a bad day, but the maître d’s or the hostess…. had the most solemn faces. When you’re patronizing a business, the last thing you want to feel like is that you’re annoying someone. I hope the owners see this . whoever greets their customers it’s suitable to have a smile on their face and to be happy when they’re servicing people. the food was tasty, but took forever?! by the time I got my plate, it was about half the serving expected for $15 for a plate??? …. i’m thinking why did I wait so long for food for them to give me less than a serving? ….felt like a rip off with bad service

After reading the reviews and hearing about this place, we finally stopped in. Either we got them on a bad day, or this is just central Louisiana low standards. Because we just wasted our money. The brisket was like jerky. The chicken so dry I had to wash it down with water. The ribs were whatever. The sausage tastes like hillshire farms. The barbecue sauce was sickly sweet. The ONLY half decent thing we tried was the pulled pork. And I’d only rate that as middle-of-the-road quality. Service counter girl was nice though.

Ribs and beans are awesome, ribs are fall off the bone awesome. The rice had a strong flavor, and the chicken was a tad bit undercooked. However, the ribs and beans canceled the negatives. Best ribs, beans, and rolls ever, just try it!!!
I bet I am the first Brit to eat in Koals in a long time.The owner greeted us, myself and my two local friends with such warmth.The food was great, and the prices are decent.Will definitely be back

Stay away from Koal's. Just found out that they have been ripping off people. A friend bill was $68. He paid the bill plus a 20% tip but they charged him $81 plus a 20% tip. My friend called to fix the mess up and the manager claims they did not do that. After my friend checked his card the $81 was paid th Koal's BBQ.Koal's wants to steal from their customers, then they don't need our business.
