The hostess never got off her phone while seating us rude manner. The Lobster ravioli was very bland and chewy. The extra cheese offered for the dish was a powder cheese like you shake out of a container not fresh grated. I was very disappointed in my experience .

I didn’t take any pictures because all the pictures I’ve seen look exactly like what we ordered. Very good true Italian food. Waiter was very nice and attentive. We definitely will be back. I must recommend the eggplant rollatini first time trying this and I will get it next time also.
I wasnt going to bother with a complaint but then I was approached by the host at my car so here it is. Stepped in to have dinner after a 14 hour shift at the hospital with my 2 service dogs. One is in training which is why I had 2 traveling with me. I was immediately told they do not allow dogs in the building. When I mentioned they are service dogs the man stated they do not allow dogs due to allergies and thry have a letter from the state. I said ok amd walked out. Now first off I could have been an jerk about it because ADA laws apply as these are not ESA animals they are legitimate medical service animals, however, since I had already had a long day I didn't feel the need to step up for my rights. I went back to my car and loaded up the dogs, and as I was looking through the map to determine where else I would rather eat after being refused service I look up and the man is standing next to my car with his arm over his face attempting to "cover a sneeze". As I opened my door to hear him because I have hearing problems he proceeded to say his allergies are extremely bad so they cannot allow dogs in. Now, at this point I'm getting angry because I left as requested politely, and now if your allergies are that significant why would you follow me to my vehicle!?! I should have requested to see this letter, I could have called authorities to complain but I did not. However, coming out of your safe space towards me as a female traveling alone my dogs and while I am sitting in my vehicle is completely unprofessional. I suggest staying away from this restaurant for this reason because harassing someone was just not necessary at all.
I regret not trying Verona's sooner. Honestly, I was disillusioned over time by our lack of great local eateries. However, Verona's did not disappoint. Our waitress was the cherry on top of a lovely evening. Her name was M* and she was amazing. I haven't had service like that since I left Houston.

The atmosphere was amazing. Our server was very nice polite and had a great attitude. The food was amazing, the prices of the meals were reasonable and the portions were very good. This was my wife and me anniversary dinner and the first time we came here, and I can truly say that it was much better than the diamon grill. I will defanaly will be back.

This was my husband and I's first time eating at Verona’s, and we are already planning another date night out here. Everything was exceptional. The waitress, the food, and the atmosphere were over the top. If you are looking for an elegant but cozy restaurant with excellent Italian food, this is a great place to come .

Food was ok
Service not bad. But before I could drink some water a fly was floating in it. Flys were land8ng on the food. If this was the condition of the dining area imagine the food prep area. When mentioned all they said was yea we know.
Oh, how I adore this place! The moment you step inside, you're embraced by an atmosphere that radiates warmth and invites you to linger a little longer. The wait staff? Simply incredible! They greet you with genuine smiles and a friendliness that makes you feel like family, all while being impressively efficient in their service. And then there's the food—oh, the food is nothing short of extraordinary! This evening, I savored the Chicken Cortadina, and let me tell you, it was a revelation. The chicken was not just cooked; it was a succulent masterpiece, tender and bursting with flavor. The Italian sausage danced with rich, robust notes that sang to my soul with every bite! It was a truly delightful meal that warmed my heart and left me yearning for more.

in the almost 20 years I've lived in Cenla, I've never been to Verona's, but it was our anniversary last night and my husband wanted Italian. I'd heard good things, so we went. Upon arrival, there was another party there that was wreaking chaos by the door, but we were quickly greeted and seated. the ambiance was nice, but there was FOX NEWS on, blaring Trump's rhetoric at a rally. We could see past that, it's our anniversary, we have no kids. waitress comes, is very nice, makes recommendations, we order wine.... I kid you not, we're ignored for over 10 minutes and then told "we were busy tonight and had to wait for wine glasses to get cleaned! it'll be a few more minutes" "fresh bread" comes. it's two big rolls with prepacked butter underneath. underwhelming. theres no way that it was homemade. it wasn't even warm... We shouldve left then, but we stayed. it was late, we were hungry. She comes back with wine, makes suggestions, we order apps and entrees. stuffed mushrooms come out. it's four, drowned in a "white sauce". they were NOT seasoned, and texturally were awful. we had to add copious amounts of pepper and salt to make it palatable. my husband ordered the chicken carbonara. I got the snapper special. yalll, I WISH I had gotten photos. my husbands carbonara had a decent beginning of flavor, that's about all I can say. the chicken was decent, but the bell peppers were cut so large that you could've picked them up and dipped them in ranch. the pasta was lackluster, as was the marinara. it looked as though they just dumped pasta (and pasta water) onto the plate. it was the most unappealing plate I've ever seen. we had to season it heavily to make it palatable. my husband never complains, but said that had it not been so late, he would've sent it back. my snapper was slightly better. snapper over fettuccini in a white sauce with crawfish. lots of herbs in the sauce, but again, no seasoning. no flavor. after adding lots of salt and pepper (taking off the lids to the jars!) it was better. I should've taken our waitress up on the parmesan, but I wanted to taste first. needless to say, we passed on the probably store bought frozen desserts and got our ticket. Service was okay, but my 8 year old could’ve made a better dinner! we will not be returning. do yourself a favor and cook your own "Italian" as this is nor what you'll find at Verona's.
