So I’ve been here 3 times and I will say this there was never a regret anytime I went. As a flight attendant I’ve traveled the world and partied at some of the BEST clubs around it. To see my one city get a premiere night club experience just warms my heart. It gives me a place to bring my big city friends when they’re in town while still delivering that magical south Louisiana sense of hospitality. This place is a gem and I cannot wait to see its evolution.

I was in town B.R. One Saturday night, I ask my homie boy a good spot to go. So, he recommended Dead Poet, When we pull up! The was very rude, when we got in the line we ask for a VIP line, they told us we have to buy a ticket

Great place for the grown and sexy! It's a chill vibe on Friday nights. I enjoyed the music selection and drink quality. I will be returning with my girlfriends!
Went here with a group and had a booth/table. I enjoyed the ambience and music. We went when Covid was still quite a concern, the place had a decent number of patrons but not too crowded. I did not try any of the food. I like that the patrons were a mixed crowd. I would definitely go again now that vaccinations are more prominent.

Zero stars. I reached out to the owner to book a section in advance for myself & a group of friends. Was given pricing & availability & then promptly paid to reserve. Just to get a notification THE DAY OF that I’ve been refunded with no explanation. I had to reach out & ask why. I’m then told by the owner, “The promoter for this night had already booked the section prior to me paying & he just realized”. Mind you I reached out Monday & paid Tuesday for Saturday night. These promoters, from what I see on public social media, started promoting this particular night on Monday when I inquired booking a section. According to the seating chart online. There’s about 12 “sections”. So “apparently” they booked ALL the sections prior to me paying at the start of the week. I guess our money was “less relevant” & easier to cancel since it would’ve been our first time attending. Just looks like they chose to cancel us to accommodate others. This caused us wasted time & money. Will not attempt to go again or recommend to anyone I know. Bad for business.

Me and one of my friends went last night......there was no where to seat so one of the security people let us sit in the VIP section....when we left it was raining really hard.....and two of the employees walked us to our car with ?.....but we had a good time.....service was top notch

Not Satisfied!! I was Assaulted at this establishment back in January. There was no security there on staff. No one reached out to me to even apologize or even check on me to see how I was.They don't care about the visitors here, nor the customers. They will act like you don't even exist if anything ever happens to you and you are hurt. I have returned to the place to completely be disregard by the co-owner of the place. Mr. David which was completely not expected, I thought he would have done otherwise. With it being that it was my first time visiting there, and I had to be taken out by an ambulance. Once i regained consciousness at the hospital I was informed what happened to me. Would not recommend on a professional level..unless you just want to find something to do and don't care about the level of class and professionalism here. The man Mr. David, didn't even come and see me to ask how I was doing after I returned to Dead Poet after the incident that took place! With me standing right outside the door and he was sitting at the bar, where you could see him clearly through the doorway. He had someone else talk to me for him. This is why i say no respect here on a professional level for the establishment Dead Poet!
