You want an excellent steak that melts in your mouth? Go here. It is a sort of political hunt, particularly when the legislature is in town, but you really can't beat them for a perfectly cooked steak. They also have a fantastic drink menu and wonderful sides and appetizers. The lobster bisque was also amazing!

Ruth Chris in Baton Rouge is at the top of our 5 favorite restaurants we have dined with in the USA - We have eaten in several Ruth Chris's across the country but the one in Baton Rouge tops them all. We don't live close to Baton Rouge (We live in Houston area) but travel through there going back and forth to see our kids in Tennessee. Always plan our return trip to stop in BR just to dine at Ruth Chis. The food in great, the setting is warm and inviting and the service in impeccable. Brock was our server last night and is great - He waited on us on our last trip so they don't seem to have much of a turnover which is another good sign.

This place looks the same as it did last time I was here before the pandemic. Doesn’t look like management spent $1 to update or modernize the dining room. In addition the front of the house management people are a bit too arrogant for their own good. Arrived without a reso with plenty of tables open and they shoved me into the last seat at the bar. Not exactly a premium experience. The bartender took good care of me but the overall experience wasn’t worth the $100 tab for 1 person. This place is old and tired and the management could be a bit more humble and friendly.

I have NEVER in my life received service as exceptional as I did last night! Our waitress Britney was absolutely wonderful. I can not say enough to compliment her or even put into words how wonderful she was to us. The whole staff was wonderful and so friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone and we will most definitely be back. Ohhh and the food was hands down a 10/10!

No one can compete with RC Baton Rouge when it comes to food and service...go try...lol Impeccable service. Old school, Martini lunch steak house... Very relaxing....best filet in the USA.
Appetizer Ahi Tuna was Very Fresh & perfectly prepared.Sea Bass was expertly cooked. Wedge salad with chunks of quality blue cheese was delicious.Parking: Free standing building with its parking, in between two hotels.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible

Had business dinner. Superb cuisine. Every dish was prepared perfectly. Appetizer was Ahi Tuna, supreme quality cut & fresh. Wedge Salad was outstanding with fantastic blue cheese. Main dish: enjoyed Sea Bass which was nicely seasoned & cooked to perfection. Excellent service from Rox. She was professional & knowledgeable.

We ordered the sin cake and no where on the menu it said they had coffee or espresso in the dessert. My fiance ordered it not knowing and was very disappointed and shocked by the coffee taste. It should be made aware on the menu incase people are allergic.

This was the last meal I had with my father. I didn't know it at the time, but we got there at 530, and were the last table to leave. The waiter never tried to rush us, and in fact, said to me on the way out, "I hope you guys had a great time together." It is a very special memory.
