I finally made it back to Serop's after years. I suppose it's just not in the most convenient location in proximity to where I live. Nevertheless, I'd been seeing someone post delicious-looking dishes on social media and so I went back. The interior of the restaurant has not changed, possibly ever. This is not a bad thing, in fact, it's quite comfortable. The service was attentive and the food came out quickly. Now, for the food. I liked the salad. It's a great tangy dressing. I like good salad that isn't overly complicated. As someone who isn't a fan of tomatoes, I liked that it only had a tomato wedge and not chopped up tomatoes that I had to pick out. It was also a really good size salad. The chicken shawarma had good flavor, but it was a bit dry. The rice pilaf was standard fare. I LOVED the flavor and texture of the hummus. The pita was thin which was different. Next time I go, I will definitely get the hummus again and hope to try one of their special dishes.

I like the food it is delicious! It’s hot made to order with fresh ingredients. Not mention healthy! However, the service is poor I was not greeted upon entry. The customers that came in after me were acknowledged and seated before me. I was basically ignored until I spoke up and said can I please order. The servers were not attentive or pleasant. I ordered and paid for my food, she didn’t even let me know how long it would take for my food to be prepared, before she just walked off. The aesthetics of the restaurant is very rich in culture, it gives the experience of sitting in another country. I enjoy their food and will be back but the service needs to be addressed.
I am extremely grateful for the pristine service I received at serops. I went eat with a few girlfriends and I met Sami. He came up to the table to make sure we enjoyed the food and we were receiving excellent service, he was so kind and made sure our experience was impeccable. The food was so exquisite that I asked him to cater my rehearsal dinner. All the detail he put into making our experience feel over the top including the service and the serving dishes. Everyone asked me what catering business I used and I was more than happy to recommend serops and gave them Sami's number. The chicken shawarma and gyros was so moist with a little crisp on the outside, the hummus was absolute perfection, the baba was mouth watering, and the grape leaves were a personal favorite along with the baklava. I had so many more dishes, I have to say nothing compares to the food at serops! If anyone wants to have dinner with their family or needs catering for an event, I highly highly recommend Sami. Since then Sami has been a personal friend of mine, now I would say I consider him family! He puts love in every dish and goes out his way to make every experience the best for every customer. Thank you again Sami, you made it a memorable experience for everyone who attended and put the cherry on top of making it the best night of my life.
I got the fried cheese and chicken shawarma and gyro plate. That was the best Greek food I've had in a long time. The chicken wasn't dry and the food was amazing tasting. I was pleasantly surprised --also ordered through ASAP and food was still hot. Fried cheese was crispy instead of rubbery--so good

I've never eaten inside, I've only gotten to go orders. However when I pickup food, it always looks clean and never appears packed with a bunch of people. The food is always hot but the taste is declining. This use to be my go to spot. The salad is always tasty. The chicken shawarma was a bit dry last time as was the lamb.
