My wife and I were camping at Fairview Riverside State Park in Madisonville. We found Half Shell on a search and headed over. What a dining experience we had. Hailey and Riley served us the best oysters we have ever had. Then they served us redfish and chicken entrees. The meals and side dishes were superb. The drinks were also phenomenal. Riley suggested the Redfish Orleans and he was right on the money! It was delicious!Riley was a great server, my drink never got empty as he was on top of his game!That was yesterday but today we found ourselves in the area again and I had a craving for their gumbo so we stopped in for lunch again however it was complete opposite from yesterday! This is our favorite place to eat. It truly is phenomenal! We drive a ways to go eat there. Our waiter Riley was awesome an is our favorite. You don't have to ask for any anything, he's the best! There is not one thing we've tried that wasn't cooked to perfection! If you haven't ever tried it...go try it. We call it our honey hole!
